  1. After a new rear axle for my 2011 Octavia 1.4 hatchback. Any suggestions where I could purchase a highly recommended replacement.
  2. I've bought a multi-function steering wheel from an identical year and model as mine. My 2011 1.4 elegance though didn't have the multi-function steering wheel as standard. I thought it would just be a case of bolt off and bolt on but apparently, it isn't as straightforward as this. What do I need to do? Is it worthwhile to do or am I just inviting trouble?
  3. Have you had any joy in getting to the bottom of this problem?
  4. Thank you for the replies. I don't think it is either of these pumps. It has also drained the battery on two occasions when it has not be driven for a number of days. If you listen to the clip on Lekky33 right at the very end is the sound that I'm hearing in my Octavia.
  5. I'm hoping fellow owners can help me in diagnosing this sound. I have not got the key in the ignition, doors are all closed as is the tailgate. When the car is locked I can still hear this sound from the outside. What have I left on? The sound is like if you were playing a key on a keyboard. The time in between each is about eight seconds.
