Different options could be quite misleading since different countries have different gadgets as default. I had thought of making comparison chart of default options in different countries but its way too much work. 😂

It’s a miracle!!! Or it sounds like it. I got confirmed estimated (lol) delivery date from leasing company! September 27th is new estimate for delivery. Got plate number also but no vin. That would make one year one month and one week.

Some statistics from Finland. These are new Octavia registrations from this year. January 226 February 188 March 73 April 19 May 94 June 126 July 137 Total 1-7/22 is 864 Octavias. 1-7/21 was 2888 so its down -70,1%

I ordered from Laakkonen Tampere october 20th. Should have been manufactured on week 28. I asked monday if it’s ”coming soon”. They said that nothing has happened…

I don’t yet know if my car was manufactured on week 28. I surely hope it was and delivery from factory to Finland doesn’t take months. 😛

Octavia mk2 delivery time in 2008 was 3 months. Mk3 2018 was 2,5 months. My mk4 order is today 11 months old. 😀

This is production week of my order. Hoping to hear something from dealer or leasing company next week. edit: Or possibly it is postponed.. 🤪

At the moment if you order new octavia it would be facelift model. At least i think so. Delivery time estimates tell that new orders would be delivered q3/23 onwards. And that is the moment when first my24 models roll out from factory. My order on dealers system says 23 for model and it should be manufactured next week. Absolutely no facts but pure speculation. 😁

I think my24 will be facelift.

Now my order says 7/2022 for manufacturing. 2022W25 / 2022W28 / N No VIN yet.

My RS is coming with those 18” comet wheels. It’s default option in finland.

I bet every cancelled but produced skoda will be sold. Actually if customer cancels i don’t think seller cancels that order. They can have it sold in no time.

What makes you think that they cannot pruduce my23 cars from the line at the same time while finishing my22 cars from parking lot?

I actually believe her. She said that those are only dates in system and no one really knows when it arrives.

Sounds like my order from august 20 2021. Dealer also said that more likely it will be delivered earlier.

Added story of my order to spreadsheet. Octavia Combi vRS 2.0tdi with tow bar order date 20/8/2021 first delivery guestimate 1/1/2022 At the moment dealers system says 6/2023 for production. Also there is this weird ”production extension/expansion?” field with 2022W25 / 2023W23 / D. So one more year waiting?
