Hi,After watching his video,it appears the camea only works when reverse is selected.Also the camera has to be coded to car to work properly.If it is only power you need wire it through the fuse box.Regards Andy

Hi,The way i wired up my dashcam is as follows.Mount camera on windshield,route cable under the headlining toward edge of windscreen and down the side pushing cable into door rubber till you get tobottom of dashboard.Using the fitting kit(bought separately) under dashboard.With a 12v, probe find a switched live fuse,mine is a 5amp,top right in fuse box.Find a suitable earth and screw down.Your car is left hand drive so reverse my way of fitting to suit lhd car.Sounds complicated but should only take about 30-40 mins.HOPE This helps.

Hi,Use the tool provided in the boot,it looks like a hook.Place it in the lowest hole in the aero cover and give it a good wrench,it should come off with no bother.Once done replace with new center caps,job done.The center caps are 56mm,available from dealer,wheels are proxima style.Hope this helps,Andy

HI,Has anyone worked out a true reading on mileage for the mkV1.My onboard computer says i am getting between40 &53 miles to the gallon , Just wondering if anyone has seriously worked out mileage.Most of my journeys are shortish runs to work and back, 14 miles round trip.Still happy with the car and mileage,wondering other peoples thoughts are.Cheers Andy😃😃😄

Hello,Just an update on fuel gauge reading , after about 128 miles the bars on gauge fell and dulled down.So gauge is working and appears to be doing good mileage.Cheers Andy🙂

Hello,In reply to removing aero caps,there is a special tool supplied to remove them.There really easy to come off,insert the tool as near to center of cap and pull ,The tool looks like a wire thingy,usually kept in spare tyre well.They do look cool but so does bare alloy with center cap and nut cover,a personal choice i suppose.Happy motoring Cheers Andy😀

Hi,Managed to get the aero caps off,and sods law i got a punctore today.Now i know how they come off i might not bother with center caps and bolt covers.Will be able to keep wheels clean a lot easier as well,Cheers Andy😀

Hi,Mine does.Take a look at your headlight switch it should say AUTO on it,set it to auto and it should come on when the light fades they should come on.You really have to look at specs to find it. Hope this helps.Cheers Andy

Hi ALL,Have tsi 95ps fabia 22 plate.My question is has anybody had issues with the fuel gauge readings.After filling with fuel the gauge registers how many miles there is in the tank.After driving around for a week or so the trip meter mounts up but the bars on the gauge never seem to move or dull down as fuel is used.Has anybody else noticed this.The car is only 3 months old,everything else seems to function as it should.Any thoughts.Cheers Andy
