Can a slice in egr valve socket allow egr to not work properly. The wire is not cut just sliced a bit? Cheers for any suggestions.

Yea they are locking after opening the door as well.

Yes this is what happening the central locking is auto closing in 30 secs and can you confirm if door locking module might have an issue?

I checked it with another working switch but no luck. Anything else i can check?

Yes they used to work before and I remember after replacing the hazard light switch they stopped working and do we have any module for that to check? @Dean

Hi guys, My mk1 1.9tdi was leaking fuel from the fuel pump so i serviced the pump and after installing it back the idle is more than 950rpm, fuel economy is high and pick up is higher than usual and engine sounds abnormal. What can be done to bring it back to normal?

@kentphil1 tried installing a new hazard switch still no luck. Frustrating that unable to solve any of the issues. Annoys me.

Yes because turn signals and hazard function work so can’t be a loose connection. So i guess it might be a different spec one.

Was a used genuine part but didn’t check the part number.

After changing the hazard light switch, my lock/unlock blinkers have stopped working. But hazard lights and indicators do work. Is it anything to do with the switch?

Checked but everything seems fine in and near the boot lock mechanism.

Exact location?

Boot is locking,unlocking fine. lever is also working fine. where is the location for the boot ajar sensor?

Maybe it could be related to sensor in the boot?

Checked and all the wires look good inside the rubber. Forgot to mention that this problem started after someone bashed my boot and it got a big dent near the emblem

Check all the doors or driver’s side only?
