So if I'm right i can change pin number 4 and 7 round on the oem connector and all should be ok ?? at the moment the head unit is working but it doesn't retain its memory so believe the main supply from the battery isnt connected to the correct pin, just checking your superior knowledge before i give it a go later -

Hi chaps ive successfully installed the stereo and active subwoofer, however i now have an issue that ive noticed that the stereo loses its memory, this explains the wire that was very badly fitted to the wrong size of the fuse box when we purchased the car this was removed straight away as it was dangerous cant understand how the 2 factory fitted radio plugs haven't got a permeant feed to the radio so really need to get my head round this -

Hi guys its been a while but god its been busy,my son has just past his test so were upgrading the stereo and active sub the weekend. we have a Kenwood DMX 120 BT to install but i can seem to find a remote cable on the back,i'm guessing i will piggy back of the main loom wiring harness for the radio and run it to the rear sub along with a cable directly from the battery, I'm assuming there should be somewhere in the boot i can access a good earth point. Any other ideas ? -
ok thanks pal, the key opens the central locking already so will try simpsons

Well guys after a loveley holiday to cypruss i was back out to fit the new lock,it was a bit of a mare trying to understand where the lock rod was fitted but after several times fitting the door plate back and forth i sussed it in the end,i tested it several times before actually closing the door and it works great,i just need to order the door card plastic connectors before fitting thanks again guys on to the next job
