  1. I tried with some lock-oil on spray that can hand high freeze temperatures on the mechanism, but it was still frozen this morning. As said before, I'm 100% sure it's not the rubber seals around the trunk that gets frozen. It's super easy to open with the manual opening from the inside. I'm sure it's an issue with the locking mechanism itself
  2. Hi I got an issue with my Skoda Fabia 1.0 Tsi 95 Combi from 2020. Both this winter and last winter (only two years I've had it), I've had issues with the locking mechanism in the boot lid. When temperatures gets sufficiently low, somewhere around -2 degress celcius, the locking mechanism is stuck and doesn't work. I can open the boot lid from the inside using the manual opening (getting a screwdriver in a small hole), but it's impossible to unlock from the outside. So it's definitely not frozen to the rubber edges, it opens perfectly fine from within. When using both the normal button on the key and the one to open the boot lid only, nothing happens. As in, there is no sound from the mechanism inside. From my experience, after using the car for some time and allowing it to heat up makes me believe that this is a temporary issue only when the locking mechanism is cold. Does anyone know if there is something I can do to fix it myself? I have some warranty from the dealership, but it's far away and I would love to save all the trouble from going there.
  3. Hmm I think I need to have a talk with the dealer then 😅 But thanks a lot for the response MN @varooom Again, thanks a lot for the assistance. You two do some serious good work. Much appreciated!
  4. @varooom I successfully upgraded the version, thank you a lot for the help. However, I still see no options for wifi in the settings. My knowledge of cars is sparse, but everywhere I can read in manuals etc, it sounds like the Swing infotainment should have the wifi functionality. Do you know if some models don't?
  5. It helps a lot, thanks! However, is there a download site somewhere for it? A Google search only shows a lot of examples of you helping people with the file 😅
  6. As you can see in the picture, that version is the one currently installed
  7. I recently purchased a used Skoda Fabia model 2020. HOwever, I cannot get the connection to my Android up and running. I'm following the setup in the MySkoda app, but when I come to the point where I have to enable a hotspot on my phone, I'm stuck as I cannot find the option on the infotainment system to connect to a wifi. I tried following the manual, but the option simply isn't there. I took a few pictures if the version of the Swing-system, hopefully it can help troubleshooting a bit. The system was initially set up in Danish, but I switched to English thinking it might be a localization issue.
