  1. There has been a discussion in the beginning of this thread about the right type of front spring for Octavia 2. It was stated that for a Skoda Octavia MK2 hatchback 1.6TDI with automatic transmission and standard suspension, the right part would be 1K0411105BC (1 Violet 1 Orange 2 Blue Dots). This is supported by catalog and also some owners on internet. Also some manufacturers list 1K0411105BC for automatic transmission. Just like @Carlstonsaid. Now here is a curious fact. A suspension coil spring (front axle) broke on my Skoda Octavia 2 FL DSG (2010), 1.6 TDI CR (CAYC) Hatchback, VIN TMBCT21Z1B8011736. Suspension is regular (not sport), with automatic DSG transmission. The broken spring is the original one, it has 3 color marks: purple(deep pink), orange, blue, so it corresponds to 1K0411105AQ. Local repair shop replaced it with another 1K0411105AQ. I also did an inquiry by email about the right part number based on VIN and around 10 Skoda authorised repair shops from all around Europe indicated 1K0411105AQ, without exception. So how can I have 1K0411105AQ and not 1K0411105BC?
