  1. OK so today I managed to find a break in the weather and 1hr free time to dive into this issue. I have managed to get access to the sensor located under the wipers on the passenger side next to what I believe to be the ECU. Once I go myself in it was easy to replace the unit and swap out. However, I still have the same issue!! So rather than it be the sensor itself could it be the wiring? Has anyone else had this issue? Current Error 9479189 [0x90A415] B10A415: Signal wire for air quality sensor, Open circuit/short circuit to B Sensor für Luftgüte - Kurzschluss nach Plus (Protokollleitung) Status: Test failed, Confirmed
  2. Ok this one is solved I had to change the Alram Siren again that sits under the wheel arch 20 min job to do!!!! All error codes gone and the alarm seems to work well and as expected. Only thing I have to solve now is the switch to turn off the internal alarm sensor (on the driver side piller) as this seems to now work has anyone done this?
  3. Pollen filter behind the glove box? Scuttle Panel Drain holes do you have any pictures or point me to a youtube video please?
  4. Hi All, Its that time of year when we have alot of water and for the first time ever Iam really getting that damp swampy smell issue. What I can tell you is its coming from the front of the car. The boot is clear and dry and no water under the spare wheel. Once I run the car it disapears but if left standing over night it will smell in the morning. What are the places I should be looking?
  5. Update I have replaced the internal alarm sensor but still have the same problem. What I have noticed is that when I sit in the car and set it off the lights flash but no siren mind you I may not leave it on long enough to kick in if there is a delay!? I think I will need to send this into the auto electrics to solve the problem.
  6. I got a new error code today which I think is pointing to the interior sesnsor can I get a second opinion please 3156 [0x0C54] Status: Test conditions are met, Validated and stored in non volatile memory
  7. Only thing is will I be purchasing one with a leak? Frying Pan to Fire.
  8. Ok so I need to go to the garage but can anyone think of anything I can try before hand?
  9. Hi All, It's that time of year again – rainy season – when I notice water in the front nearside headlight. My usual solution is to remove the light, take off the covers at the back, and leave it on a heat pad to evaporate the moisture. However, I'm wondering if there's a common entry point for water that I'm missing. I can't see any cracks in the headlight. Does anyone have any insights or similar experiences?
  10. Hi All, I've encountered an error code with some unusual symptoms – DTC 01134 Skoda. Yesterday, I parked the car, went into the house, and about two minutes later, the alarm went off. This occasionally happens, so I unlocked the car, ensured the driver's side door was properly closed, and relocked it. However, two minutes later, the alarm activated again. After scanning the car, I found the following error. I drove around the block, cleared the error, and tried again, but the alarm went off once more. Thinking the internal sensor might be the issue, I went to switch it off at the pillar. That's when I noticed the light wasn't on! I also observed that when locking the car, the light on the door card blinks four times, then remains solid red for about 25 seconds before starting to blink again. This is new to me; I always thought it just blinked. Back in 2020, I replaced the alarm siren due to the classic acid leak issue with a unit from AliExpress, which has been working great. When I lock and unlock the car, I still hear the beeps. I'm wondering if the recent heavy rains in the UK might have affected the wiring, or if it's time to replace the siren again? Would appreciate your thoughts!
