Thanks @Schtum You say Fife, I'm in Aberdeenshire 👍. Maybe passed each other on the roads. If I have a "spirited" mine come home closer to 20mpg. Where is Angel Tuning? And how much was your tune?

Thanks @Urrell. I think I'll have a look at the throttle body for any gunk etc as was suggested. It also says people woth dpf issues can cause it run a bit stutterey in the low end, which mine also runs smooth. Even from 4th gear at idle revs

@roottootso iv had a good read through some of that and other threads about the DPF. Iv never had any EML light come on or any engine/emmison warnings (accept the recent pressure sensor) in the 6 years iv had the car. I'll go to my local garage and get it plugged in and see if it will tell us what the levels are and if it needs to regen. Thanks again

@Urrell@roottoot thanks very much guys. I will look into that. Do you think he map I'm using could make the dpf to clog or is this just something I need to do? Does an egr delete help things?

I found it on auto doc but I bought it from my local TPS in Scotland. It was like 85 quid from them. Wish I bought it from auto doc now 😪

It was called, " (tpf) particulate system, circuit A" on the computer that was plugged in. Here's a photo of the damaged one....

Thanks @J.R. Nothing changed after timing belt. Dpf was only changed as it tripped the EML. changed and cleared codes and all was okay I will check the throttle body this week for gunk etc to see if its sorted up.

I generally do 400 to 500 miles a week regular long and short runs. The car is also super smooth in low range with no problems. No rattles or strange vibrations. Just when the revs go above 2k and uses a bit of turbo it really wants yo drink. Like instead of sitting at 72 where i get 45mpg + if I sat at 76 it would be down at like 35mpg

@roottoot yes he is a mechanic, I'm also a mechanic, don't think I'd be messing with timing if I wasn't haha. Nothing has gotten worse or better after timing belt change and map has been on for 2 years woth no issue. Just last 3-4 months it's been getting harder yo get the economy out of the car. Sorry it was the DPF I changed, there are 2 next to each other on the top of the engine with one hose going into each. It was like £70odd +vat. I only did this as it tripped the EML. I changed and cleared codes.

So get someone to check my timing job? Also my friend has a business mapping cars, campers, lorries, tractors etc and has really good experience and reviews. Otherwise I wouldn't of had one done by him. So the car is doing more frequent regens on this map it has, would it be better if it went to a specialist that knows VAG engines? Thanks for your reply @roottoot

Hey Everyone, I'm new to Briskoda, found loads of helpfully info to wrench on my scoda recently. But hot to step forward and ask you all a question.... First thing gs first, I have a 2016 150 yeti monte carlo. Pretty much standard inside and out with just over 80000. Owned the car since 10000 miles and it's my favorite car that iv ever driven. My friend has a business and installed a map on it, giving it 195hp but really put towards the economy side as I do a lot of miles and I'm not a speed junkie. So my problem is, the car has been progressive getting a little worse on MPG! I used to be able to sit at 75 and get 45mpg. But now I have to really really baby the throttle and be more sensitive with it. If I sit at the same speed now I will br luck to achieve 40mpg. It's like when the turbo spools a but it drinks fuel. Even though I'm not gunning it. Engine work done in last few thousand was the timing belt by myself (i know a bit late but hey, better late than never) but everything was perfect when I changed it a month ago. At this time I got a TPF particulate filter problem, which I replaced with oem part at like £85. But it still feels a little sluggish and drinking more fuel than normal. Sorry for the novel guys, any help much appreciated
