  1. Did not hold for 5 seconds so thanks for the information, now all batteries working. I would have thought the dealeship would have told me that when I put one of the batteries in to show it was not working, instead they took the fobs away and came back with the skoda batteries fitted and a £15 bill.
  2. Have checked Skoda batteries and none Skoda ones, all 3v full charge. So nothing wrong with the none Skoda ones.
  3. Key fobs for the car stopped working and when new CR2025 button cells from a well known proprietary label were fitted they still did not work. Skoda dealer said they have had this problem before and said a skoda supplied battery would work, which they did but cost me £14.20 for the two batteries. Tried the fobs with none Skoda batteries again and, surprise - they still did not work but worked ok with the skoda batteries reinserted. Have asked Skoda for an expanation but still waiting for one. Has anyone else had this problem
