Hi Smart Pro I managed to find a towbar from a Nissan Juke, and it fits perfectly, and seems to be the right lengths and angles etc - however I’m still wary of the appropriateness of it. Are you able to measure your towbar for me please? I’d like to make sure the height is alright, as I’m being roped into towing the missus’ horse in a few days time, and I’m worried that it won’t work! Many thanks

Very good point, if I could find another one that was compatible, life would be so much easier, sadly just looking at pictures on the internet doesn't help

Interesting, I hadn't considered this - you'd think that they'd leave the towbar with the car though!

I’m fairly certain it was factory fitted, and my thought process behind this is the cut out in the spare wheel foam section for a towbar - I’d guess that wouldn’t be something you’d do if you had it fitted aftermarket?

Great car isn’t it! I’m fairly sure that I have that kit that you have installed on your car, on my car as well, it’s just been a pain trying to find the right swan neck for the Superb. I’m guessing that those who own the swan necks are so happy with them, they don’t want to sell them maybe?

Hi all, I have scoured the forums and internet but can't seem to find a solution to this. Recently I have purchased a 2014 Superb Mk2 Tour de France edition - great car and perfect for all my needs, but it did not come with the removable towbar. All the hardware, including wiring is there, but not the swan neck. I know what the item number is for the towbar, but they seem to be as rare as rockinghorse teeth, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any other Westfalia towbars that might fit the Superb, maybe a Yeti or Octavia Scout?
