Hi everyone. New Here.
Just bought a used SK Fabia 2011.
The right tail light housing (facing the rear of the car) had a crack, so replaced it. Discovered the right reverse light is not working...
I've tested the bulb on both sides...
Swapped the electrical (loom?) between the connector and the light bulb sockets.
All the other lights work on the right side. The left side also all fine, including the left reverse light. (So can rule out the reverse light switch cause I get one!?)
It got dark, but tomorrow plan to test the connections again, and from the right reverse socket back to the loom connector and then if I must back through to the other wide...
It's really stumped me. Happy to have at least one working reverse light, but just don't know where to look being that all the other lights work just fine!
Worse case I thought I'd replace the wire from the far loom to the socket on the right side - would that be an 18 gauge wire?
thanks all around!
Martin
