Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Hello again. Every now and then I enter the forum to see if there is new firmware, the latest version is 480? I take this opportunity to ask an offtopic question, I have downloaded the logos of stations in my country, I have saved it on the SD card but then it appears empty when I try to change the logo of a station.

Minor electrical problems on Fabia SDI
Thank you for the information. I've checked the thread and well, I understand that the simple solution would be to change the switch for the one you say you bought from Aliexpress. I also forgot to mention another strange thing that happens, and that is that from time to time the automatic locking of the doors occurs, for example when I am driving and all the locks are closed except the driver's, and I have not activated the automatic locking for exceeding 20km/h. I also remember that if I put the key in the cylinder and turn it to lock or unlock, only the driver's door opens, the central locking is not activated. What worries me most is that the car does not cut the power, if I leave a USB charger connected to the cigarette lighter the led of the charger stays on, when the car should cut the power. I would like to buy one of those bluetooh devices which, when connected to the cigarette lighter, synchronises with the car radio, but if the car doesn't cut the power, I can see that the battery will run out.

Minor electrical problems on Fabia SDI
Skoda Fabia SDI 1.9 year 2005 I will take that test. The electric window mechanism may have broken in the past, it could be that this part is broken. What do you think about the other faults? Thanks Regards.

Minor electrical problems on Fabia SDI
Oh my gosh varooom you are on every forum hahaha you are omnipresent. I once saw a video of a part that is inside the door, but you had to disassemble everything (panel, glass, etc ...) and what scared me the most was the key pump that had a screw that was removed in one position and I saw it complex and risky. The piece had a kind of nipple that if dirt had accumulated on it, it would not come out and it would stay stuck inside.

Minor electrical problems on Fabia SDI
Hi all, My first car is still running but it has some small electrical problems that I don't know how I could solve. - The driver's window when I press the button to go up by itself (without having to press the button) when it reaches the halfway point it reverses and goes down. I have to raise it by pressing the button continuously. This also happens if I press and hold the button from the beginning, it reaches the middle and automatically goes down and until it reaches the bottom I can't raise it. - It is not detected that the driver's door has been opened. If, for example, I leave the dipped headlights on with the engine off, take out the key and open the door, there is no warning beep. Occasionally it does it again. This also applies to the boot lid, it does not open, you have to open another of the 3 doors for the boot lid to open, and it is because it does not detect the driver's door has been opened. - The boot light doesn't light up 100%, it's kind of dim, sometimes it lights up completely but it's random. - The boot light is dim all the time as well as if I leave something plugged into the cigarette lighter charger, it's as if the car doesn't cut the current in these circuits. If you can give me any advice, I would appreciate it. Regards.

How to repair the rear seat armrest?
thank you for the offer. I'll look for alternatives, managing a shipment from abroad can be complex and I'm not sure if it will work afterwards. Anyway, I'll keep it in mind in case I change my mind. thank you very much

Thank you for the information. It will be difficult to find such a part in a scrapyard but I will try. What is the name of the part or the block of the part? to search the internet for the exact part. Regards

How to repair the rear seat armrest?
Hello to all. I have an Octavia III and my kids broke the rear armrest handle, to open and access the boot. Actually what was damaged was the spring, which a few days later also disappeared from the car. I don't know if anyone can tell me how to repair this handle, at the dealer they quoted me for the complete replacement of the part (the rear central armrest), when it is only a spring. I attach a photo so you can see what I'm talking about. Thank you.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Thank you for your help. I have just downloaded and accessed the menu you mentioned. I upload the photos taken. I hope that the update will improve the android auto that I don't know if it's my smartphone or the Amundsen, but sometimes it restarts in the middle of driving and starts very slowly.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Hello. I have a 2020 Octavia III 1.5 TSI. This is the information that appears on my Amundsen (I don't know which Amundsen version I have honestly) , I don't know if there is any update. In case there is a new version, I have several doubts: - What improvements does the new version have? - What steps should I follow to update. - Is it possible to make a backup in case the update fails. - What risks could there be. Thanks. Regards
