  3. yea I was a dolt and waited six months too long. won't happen again. planning on doing it every spring. my buddy is good, orders OEM parts. gets everything at cost. trying to figure out all the other stuff to do. we do a western european road trip every summer where we put 3k-4k miles on it, all the other trips are smaller. car will never see more than 8k miles/year. thanks again for the info
  4. 4 year warranty. 570 euros seems nuts. Drive it once/twice week on shorter trips and take a few road trips every year. Want to keep the car for a decade at least. I don't get the differences between countries; its driving me batty to try and figure it out. That chart definitely helps. Appreciate it.
  5. It's an oil+oil filter change, pollen filter change, brake fluid change, and inspection. Car is two years old and has 16k miles on it. Dealer is quoting it as 570 euros. I'm in Budapest Hungary. I have a friend who does the oil change for me at cost (80 euros) since he owns an Isuzu repair facility. Looking at the prices here: https://www.lookers.co.uk/skoda/servicing-and-parts/offers/service-plans Oil and Inspection Service £185 Pollen Filter £35 Brake Fluid + ins £65 Total £285 ~ 330 euros. Dealer here was 570 euros. Seems way excessive. Never had a single problem with the car. It's been great.
