Looking for 6C higlhline camera dataset number
Hello, Is there anyone with VCDS or ODIS who has 6C highline camera either on scala or kamiq? If so, I would appreciate to check the dataset number as per example, that i share below. THANKS

Fitting Variable Boot Floor to Scala
i dont see why that should be a problem. the boot is same so u can definitely use same product numbers, go to dealer and ask about it. here in slovakia we dont order it online. dealers have catalogue of parts so you can either ask them to help u to identify all the parts but its better to come with a list of parts and just ask if they have them

about the bolts...its little bit tricky to buy them here in former czechoslovakia as well-the only website offering them its skoda-dily cz(skoda-parts.com) but if you dont mind to actually visit dealer, they can order them anytime its just a package of 10 and each for around 2 EUR but if you ahve a good relationship with them its not a problem to buy just 4...anyway dave is right and u can use standard M6 about hooks i would not be so optimistic AFAIK when it comes to boot size the difference is in length from back seats to tailgate not in height so... boot floor number is definitelly a correct one btw dave i have always been wondering about that glued wood for 4th bolt...its seems to me as very easy solution but not suitable in case you need to remove the side panels afterwards, lets say to access the wires behind for another retrofit etc... if you did i think the bolt would not hold that well again in the wood. there would have to be a thread in that wood actually?

Fitting Variable Boot Floor to Scala
hello. i am from slovakia (scala owner) so regarding the skoda-parts website its originally czech website skoda dily.cz and i order from them now and then with no issues-except for the pricey delivery (at least for us haha) but i imagine its gonna cost you even more. if you are going to buy all the parts from them its gonna be an expensive retrofit so if i were you i would first check a local scrapyard/wrecking yard at least thats what we do here and thats how i bought the floor for 50 EUR instead of 150. Regarding other questions you had and material list... lashing eyes-i bought them as well but you would have to disassemble the side carpets to actually see if in the cars body theres a hole with thread or you could use a needle to pinch the side carpet and find it that way... you need 4 bolts not 2. 2 are on each side so 4 in total. i advise to buy one extra just in case something goes wrong. side panels has rails so you will "slide" the VBF into them and then you simply "let it sit" and yes on the other side (tailgate) it sits on top of that small lip. also be aware that most likely ur gonna have just 3 out of 4 holes present in cars body for attaching the side trims with bolts. if so, you can still use it with 3 bolts only or you can drill a hole to cars body with a thread for the 4th one or use a wood and glue it to the cars body, its up to you. oh and BTW everything is vertical and yes that small part of carpet on both corners of the lip are supporting the VBF as well. VBF is in fact in direct contact with side carpets. in the evening i could take some pictures for you.

i like the VBF but it also has its limits as u mentioned- for me the problem are hooks for the bags- now the boot is not deep enough so those hooks are basically useless. heres is the website for ETKA IFI :: Free services (ifinterface.com)

nope. i intend to keep them just in case. they were pretty cheap if i recall correctly-problem for u could be that u are from NZ...since i am from slovakia it was very easy to order it-i had it like in couple of days no shipping cost since it was ordered from skoda Czech.

u should have ordered hooks as well (num.14 from etka-my reply above). hard to say whether its possible to mount them since there can be missing holes as well so u either have to remove the whole panel or u could try to pierce the carpet with a pin lets say to see whether there is a hole-if yes, you would cut a hole in carpet and assemble the hooks-i have ordered them just in case but never installed.

regarding the width-yes thats a common knowledge that many skoda models have the same or very similar width-which is around 100cm. i am sure u can find the superb boot width on the internet ...even though scala and kamiq do share the interior (cost saving by skoda) there are some notable differencies-as mentioned above the boot is one of them but there are others that can be found in "ETKA" which is electronic catalogue of parts-at least thats what we call it slovakia/czech...

Fitting Variable Boot Floor to Scala
i think i have found the culprit :DD all the components except for the VBF itself i ordered at the skoda dealer-i had numbers from briskoda, they confirmed it and that was it i had the 658861411WR9 from kamiq post and after a loft of search i found one (from "scrap car"). the thing is when i found the website that was selling those spare parts from scrap cars i was no longer searching it by the number but simply by the name "skoda scala" so i did not check whether the numbers are matching. I have checked the invoice now and can confirm that i also bought the 657861411WR9. your measurements explain it all since the kamiq boot is shorter and has less capacity-which was one of the reasons why i went for the scala. ...so i can confirm: 657861411WR9 skoda scala 658861411WR9 skoda kamiq

Fitting Variable Boot Floor to Scala
Hi dave, i have to say i am surprised there are two types of variable boot floors. AFAIK i got mine based on the info from the kamiq thread and its fits perfectly even though my car is not kamiq but scala. i checked the number you provided and sure it exists. there is no "shape" difference of floor itself but those pictures are not precise...but there are small differences when it comes to other parts related to VBF. maybe it depends on model year or engine? dunno. mine is 2022.

Fitting Variable Boot Floor to Scala
hello to both of you, First of all-i have come across the same problem as dave75. in fact i had 4 holes drilled but the one was without a thread (left side) so i could not mount a bolt there so i kept it empty for now. if i recall correctly-originally there is "extra metal plate" welded to the cars body with the hole and thread for the bolt. my idea was to drill two holes (instead of welding) and attach the home made metal plate with screw rivets. i have to say that the no-nail (glue) solution is definitely a better one so thanks for the tip. regarding the bolts (black one with built in washer)-in SVK/CZ republic you can order any amount even though when dealer is ordering it theres 10pcs in one package. there is also different bolt under the same number (in other stores)-its almost the same but no built in washer, different color... regarding the parts-once again in CZ/SVK there was no problem to order the parts from a local dealer-the delivery took only 2 days (bolts, supports+eye lashes). the floor itself was quite expensive but i managed to get one for 70 EUR only-it was taken out from a car-perfect condition (spare parts store in CZ republic) so the overall cost for me was like 110 EUR for the whole variable boot floor. i can also recommend the website: https://www.oemvwshop.com/ if i am not mistaken they are based in CZ but they do deliver to the whole word so u can order everything there. in spring i will have to deal with those eye lashes. but i am woried there wont be any dedicated holes drilled-the only way to know for sure without dissassembling anything(side trims) is probably to take a needle and see whether it hits the metal sheet or not. anyway for the time being i dont really need them.

Variable Boot Floor
thank you for a quick reply. in fact i checked the pictures that you posted back then thoroughly but it seemed to me that there is a huge space-as if there was no spare tire so i am glad that you made it all clear. 10 cm height of "secret space" is something that i will definitely check-whether its worth it or not but the point for me here is that with the variable floor i can have almost straight line (flat space) between the boot and folded rear seats. new floor is about 130 EUR right now but today i have managed to find one used floor in czech republic for half of the price so i have something to think about 🙂 Cheers

Variable Boot Floor
Hello, I have came across this topic quite some time ago and since i am from slovakia its easy for me to get all the parts required for making a boot floor on scala variable. The thing is, i honestly have no idea whether variable boot floor works in case i have spare tire under the standard floor? I cant find the info about it anywhere. Page number 1. of this thread includes pictures of the variable boot floor and the owner is using the space between the "standard floor" and variable floor for small things but its not visible whether or not he has the spare tire under those things. So...the question is quite simple: can i have a variable boot floor with spare tire or is it possible to have it with the tire repair kit only? THANKS
