Steering wheel upgrade
I see. I really appreciate your help, and I've learned a lot from your posts. Do you happen to know the part number of your old (original) steering wheel? Also, since you changed to the alcantara wheel with the code 565 064 241 A GCW, which turned out to be an older model, it seems that the wheel I've selected 565 064 241 B CXA has a very similar part number. So, I assume it should also be an older wheel and should fit my original airbag, which according to your post is from before MY2018. I think I'll take a risk and buy the steering wheel, and I'll keep you all updated on my success. Hopefully

Steering wheel upgrade
@rcblur69 thanks! that is really helpful. It seems that the local dealer is rather unhelpful. All they can do is provide you with a part number based on your car's VIN number and replace it according to the service manual. They don't offer any additional assistance, at least not in my country. From the information you provided, it appears that my airbag is option 1 with a smooth appearance. You mentioned that it's shallower and should fit with any wheel, but I'm concerned about a slight gap. Could you clarify what you meant by that? I would expect that if it's shallower, it should fit snugly into the steering wheel without any gaps.

Steering wheel upgrade
Thank you for sharing your experience. That was really helpful! If I understand correctly from your post, you had a 2018 Superb, which came with new multimedia, and so the steering wheel was apparently a little different from the cars manufactured before 2018. Since you sourced the alcantara steering wheel from the older model before 2018, you needed an older airbag and controls. I'm also curious about how to determine if the steering wheel I'm looking for is compatible with the stock airbag. Would the dealer have that information? In my case, the Superb is a 2017 model, but it has new multimedia from the factory, so I assume the steering wheel will be MY18. I just need to find out if the steering wheel I've chosen (565064241BCXA without paddle shifters) will work with my airbag. I wouldn't want to change it, especially considering the new one from the dealer is over 1k EUR.

Steering wheel upgrade
Thank you for sharing the part numbers. It's interesting to note that the wheel with the code 565 419 091 E BGW is priced at 713 EUR at my local dealer, making it the most expensive option. However, it's unclear how it differs from the 565 419 091 E CXA, which is priced at 625 EUR. Perhaps the best choice would be to go with the cheapest version, 565 064 241 B CXA.

Steering wheel upgrade
Can someone help me choose a flat-bottom steering wheel for my Superb MK3? I'm specifically looking for a perforated leather flat-bottom steering wheel without heating. I'm considering two options: one with paddle shifters or one without. Additionally, I only need the steering wheel itself without the airbag, and I prefer black stitching. I've noticed that there are various options available in the market, and the price range is quite surprising. For instance, option 565064241BCXA, which meets my requirements but lacks paddle shifters, costs around 290 EUR at my local dealer. However, when I look at the same option with paddle shifters, such as 565419091ECXA, it is priced at 625 EUR. Is it possible that the addition of paddle shifters could double the price, or am I looking at the wrong part codes? Furthermore, I've observed that the alcantara version with paddle shifters, 565064241AGCW, is priced at only 380 EUR. Can anyone confirm if the part codes I'm examining are correct, and if there are any other versions available in between these options?

Hey @JR RS Are these facelifted tail lights, or did you simply add a chrome strip to the pre-facelifted tail lights?

Installing rear door warning lights in Sportline
@ApertureSThanks you for adding this. In my case, I have ambient lighting but no rear module, so it does indeed seem to vary based on the specific car model.

Installing rear door warning lights in Sportline
For those who still plan to install door warning lights on their Superbs, I would like to provide further clarification. There are two installation options for door warning lights, depending on your vehicle's equipment. If you have the L&K version with a rear door controller module, which is the black module located here: In this scenario, you can install door warning lights as OEM with programming. Here is a detailed guide: https://www.drive2.com/l/555886142042406917/ If the designated area in your car is unoccupied, it indicates the absence of a door controller module. In such a situation, the sole option is to draw power from existing wires. In this case, you should connect the positive wire to the door window motor connector. This connector features a thick red/white wire located in PIN2, as highlighted by @Alan_P and @przemoka. The negative pin should be connected to the brown/yellow wire of the door lock connector. An intriguing aspect is the pin assignment. As initially indicated by @Alan_P and @przemoka, it should be connected to PIN2. However, @JR RS subsequently discovered that it's actually PIN5. Based on my recent experience, I can affirm that the key factor here is to identify the brown/yellow wire. In the case of the left-hand side door, it corresponded to PIN2, whereas on the right side, it was associated with PIN5 in my Superb. So, to avoid confusion, keep this in mind while proceeding with the retrofitting process. Here's an image of the door lock connector - make sure to locate the brown/yellow wire:

Can someone please provide the part code for the hook frame indicated by the red arrow? I am specifically referring to the frame itself, without the inserts. I have been unable to locate the code, and I am wondering if it is included as part of the side cover?

Sorry to bother you again. Can you share more pics of Rieger side skirts? How do they go into the front and rear wheel arch, maybe you have more close shots while fitting them, i.e. with doors opened, to see how it goes into the sill. Also, can you tell how they are attached? Double sided tape or something more sophisticated? And what about front mudflaps? Any pics how you modified them?

Front Grille replacement
With the modified I meant that they spray some parts. For example: http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-original-Skoda-Autoas-front-grille-with-radar-MONTE-CARLO-BLACK-metallic-edition. I have no doubts about the quality and that the part is oem, but they say: - modified to MONTE CARLO edition (Black Magic metallic F9R version). It means part is sprayed (painted). So this is modified OEM part. My only concern is, how does it look in reality. Because the grille is modified to monte carlo, while frame is unmodified, you can see here: http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-grille-frame-SPORT-LINE-Black-magic-metallic-paint-F9R. So its not clear do they match visually. As I said, I bought recently "skoda" emblem: http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/Emblems/Genuine-Skoda-Autoas-rear-emblem-´SKODA´-MONTE-CARLO-black-version which is also OEM but modified to monte carlo edition. If you place it next to oem "superb" emblem: http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Genuine-Skoda-Autoas-rear-emblem-´SUPERB´-SPORTLINE-black-version which is not modified to monte carlo, you can see that modified version "skoda" emblem has that pearl effect, while stock "superb" item is just glossy black. So this is my only concern, will they match visually or not, because the emblems dont match. An if you use them both on the boot, you may notice the difference. Not even saying that the letter size on both emblems is different. Here is modified to monte carlo (black with pearl effect "Skoda" emblem): Here is stock sportline (glossy black "Superb" emblem): I agree that I maybe overthink a little bit but just wanted an advise before I make my final decision which design to choose - all oem (unmodified sportline), or mixed oem and modified to monte carlo from kopacek. Maybe someone tried one or both variants.

Front Grille replacement
I'm sure about the quality. Most of their parts are oem. I'm not sure if I should go with oem look or with modified look grille from kopacek. If I will remove "foil" around side windows and go with shadowline later, it may have different colour than the modified kopacek grille. I recently bought Skoda and Superb black trunk emblems from kopacek. Superb emblem is oem and it comes I assume from the facelift model. The Skoda emblem is a modified monte carlo version. And actually they are different. If I put both of them on the trunk, probably I will notice the difference. Don't want the same to happen with the grille which is way more expensive. Can anybody confirm the part codes from my post above?

Front Grille replacement
I want to upgrade my skoda with the sportline bodykit. I was looking for a part codes for the oem sportline front grille, grille frame and radar cover. Can anybody confirm that part numbers I found are correct: grille: 3V0853653ZD4, frame: 3V0853761AF9R, radar cover: 3V0853655ZD4. Also I was looking at kopacek and I saw they sell modified monte carlo grille and radar cover: http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-original-Skoda-Autoas-front-grille-with-radar-MONTE-CARLO-BLACK-metallic-edition and http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-original-Skoda-radar-hole-cover-BLACK-MAGIC-F9R. I assume these are original parts but modified (sprayed), they aren't stock. The grille frame they sell however is stock (oem) and it will be slightly different I suppose. Have anyone tried a combination of front grille and radar cover from kopacek with oem grille frame? They are also a bit more expensive: grille with frame: 215Eur, radar cover: 55Eur. While stock parts are: grille: 86Eur, frame 129Eur, radar cover: 33 Eur. I'm a bit uncertain which option to choose, modified version from kopacek, or original skoda sportline. Thanks!

Do you have a link for the part on AliExpress? A related question to your Rieger tuning side skirts. Actually, they look nice, but what about the front mudflaps? Can you still fit them after side skirts are installed? How about the fitment of the side skirts, do they require drilling or you just attached with adhesive?
