  1. Same car, same engine, 220000km . Fuel consumption - in wintertime around 9L/100km, cold engine and generally shorter trips. In the summer I average a bit over 7L/100km - longer trips improve the average quite a bit. On a longer trip I've averaged below 6L/100km on some B-roads doing 70-90 km/h, doing 130kmh on a highway ups the average by a full litre. Tested on some 300-500km trips. Oil-wise I guess I'm doing pretty well - a litre per 3000km . Had a small leak from the end of the crankshaft, fixed with the latest beltchange - almost no difference.
  2. I,ve had 3m pipes in mine. One end in the passenger footwell and then slightly diagonally between the front seats and on top of the rear backrest. Tied down with a seatbelt.
  3. Also the factory-stated maximum consumption is 0,5L per 1000km. My 184hp TDI currently goes a bit over 3000km after topping up( dunk a full liter in when the light comes on). But my consumption has been higher too, in my case the consumption changes with overall oil-change and then stays at a similar level until the next one.
  4. Hey there! That is perfectly normal oil consumption for the car. I have the 2015 Scout and pretty similar consumption. According to the user manual up to 0,5l per 1000km is normal. A 5l can of oil gets me from one oil change to the next one.
