  1. That's fantastic detail and the main reason for joining this forum.. Many Thanks for taking the time to post this. You'll have to excuse my ignorance on such matters. My Audi did have it done during my ownership but that was due to my Mechanics insistence rather than my knowledge. I would love to try this as it looks fairly straightforward..... but I'm fearful of making a mess of it. Thanks again for taking the time to reply!!
  2. No. Not to my knowledge. Would hope to get this done too. Is this a problem area? I'm lucky to have a good mechanic and the easier jobs, I'll do myself.
  3. Hi. I'm new to Soda ownership. Just bought a high mileage Skoda Superb MK2 2011 4x4. I wanted the 4x4 version as I live in a remote area surrounded by hills and valleys. Boot is cavernous which is great for our 2 large dogs. This car was bought as I previously owned a 2001 Audi Allroad which I loved but it was a bit thirsty. This is from the same stable and returns good mpg. So far I have to say I'm very impressed by it. Leather interior, finish is good, mpg is good for a 4x4 (compared to the Audi). So far I serviced it myself. I've had the timing belt & water pump replaced. New clutch & dual mass flywheel was unforseen but as I want to hold onto the car for some time, I need it to be reliable. It's reliable & comfortable on the longer journeys. Apologies for the long winded introduction but I have to say I'm really enjoying this car. Many thanks, Michael.
