  1. I'll list all that I've changed. Coolant temp Crankshaft sensor Fuel sender Fuel relay Tandum pump Air flo meter Egr & throttle body stripped and cleaned I changed the tandum pump due to cutting out, fuel related, I'd tried everything else. Still no further on. Wiring??? Wish it would just give up so I can put my finger on the problem
  2. I had problems in the past with a vw and it was the same issue, the tandum sorted it. My battery has been tested and is 110%
  3. Always starts from cold. It's o ly hard to start what the engine is warm, I'm.fittung a tandum pump tomorrow, I'll keep ya posted..
  4. Already changed it mate. Still no good. Belt due at 220k
  5. Sorry for the late feedback. I'll give it a try, I'm thinking it could be the tandum put as this is a common fault with these engines, saying g that . There's 205k on the car, love these engines. Tandum pump#
  6. Hi, I'm having the same problem, I've changed the crankshaft sensor, changes the coolant sensor, cleaned the air flo sensor, changed the fuel tank sender unit. Still the same . I'm now thinking it could be the tandum pump, this is a common problem with these. I'll buy a used one to see if it will fix the problem I'll keep ya posted. Sorry this was 2013 missed the date lol
  7. Hi all I'm having the same problem, 2008 fabia 1.9tdi, hard to start when warm. Nothing showing on my obd reader Fuel filter changed Coolant temp changed Crankshaft sensor changed Fuel pump / feeder in the tank changed Fuel pump relay changed Egr removed and all cleaned. What's the chances , try a new battery or starter???????? Just don't get this at all. Great car, love 1.9tdi
  8. Yes I've asked when it's on the ramp would you rise the front wheels to see if we could find the problem. There's new drop links. New struts top mounts and springs etc etc. There's only one side I haven't changed in shock spring and top mount. I stopped as I said spending is getting to much. If it was the shock it would have showed up at mot. That ruled that out. I'll let you all know once we get to the bottom off this. Thank you
  9. Thank you for the help folks. Much appreciated.
  10. I asked if he could see anything when he was checking for movement as the wheels are still on the ramp. It's a drive on not 2 or 4 poster. I just chanced my arm hoping he would find it. I'm returning to the garage in a few weeks to check again. Fingers crossed we find it. Thanks
  11. It's a 1.9tdi. I haven't decided yet. It's a guess that it's the steering rack. There's no leaking or anything. Seems to be that once it's on the ramp due to the weight taking off the car then there's no clue. Even when not in motion if I shake the steering wheel from left to right there's no noise. Driving me crazy.
  12. Hi. If anyone can help. I'm getting a knocking noise from the front of my fabia. It sounds more to the middle off the car rather than each side. I've had it to four different places and everyone can hear it but can't find it. Its just passed mot and they couldn't find it. Everything had been changed. Its like a new car at the front. I'm now going down the route that it might be the steering rack. Seems to be worse going into corners. I'm baffled.
