Guide: 1.9 PD130 Turbo Install/Removal

Featured Replies

Great guide and PDF :D

Superb only thing missing is to remove bolt holding turbo support bracket above the oil return pipe, and make sure new turbo is also fitted with a support

Otherwise manifold studs take a hammering and snap.

Nice work,  I've just shown this to a workmate of mine who is/was being a bit of a wimp and thinking of getting a garage to do this for him if/when it becomes necessary. Between him, me and this guide, I reckon we'll be fine.  Cheers!

Brilliant guide bud! I know what I'm doing tonight then! :-) lol

Mods, please sticky this

An alternative to fully prime turbo is to remove injector loom plug and crank engine until fresh oil comes out of the oil return :)

Very good guide, well written and clear, 10/10!

Great guide!

Thanks for this guide managed to remove the turbo on my PD100 FABIA using substantially your instructions.

Some more messing was required to disconnect the EGR cooler.
