Ok. Thanks! Will do a search. And regards pedal box and warranty? Will it affect it?

Big thank you. Finally I got answers, understanding and clearness. Ok let's forget about remaping. But what is pedal box? First time hearing.

Hello. Answering to question. What is the problem to solve... I have lack of power in my opinion. And there are options out there, to increase it. But in the same time I would like to do it with smallest effort (meaning Remapping only no modification on intace etc). Because car is still on warranty. So I would remap and then remap back when visiting the dealer. Concerns was that: A) would remaping and then remaping back to stock be visible by dealership. does the 1,5 petrol engine can handle the increase. So I would not end up with blown engine or cooling system or something.

@toot sorry I did not saw your previous message. So yes it is still on dealer warranty. But I got your point. Thanks a lot

@toot Hi. The place has been found. Although they say that everything will be fine and nothing will broke in certain time...I'm a bit concerned if the stock engine will be capable to handle new power and wanted to double-check with someone who has gone through. Also I was interested if those changes (Remapping) are traceable? as example. I do Remapping on Stage1. and before visiting the dealer do Remapping back to stock.

There are few types of chip tuning. Stage 1, which is something around +25hp. Stage 2, which is something around +40hp. Probably there are also next steps as well, but for sure complex upgrades will be needed.

Hi all. I have a Octavia MK4 1.5 tsi. 150hp is starting to become not enough so idea was to get chip-tuning to Stage 2. Which should give around +40 hp and +68nm. But I have few concerns and questions. And was hoping to get answers here. Q.1. does the stock engine, transmission and other parts keep up and with stage2 ? Will it endure the power increase? Does the stock engine and other parts are suitable for Stage2 ? Or other modifications are needed as well? Q.2. is this modification traceable? despite the fact I will put the original (stock) ECU back later on? Many thanks in advance.
