Hello, first post after i was recommended this site by a friend. I have a 2017 VRS estate and currently have an issue with the power tailgate. Just before Christmas my other half, who rarely drives the car, opened the tailgate by manually lifting it. This caused it to stop a third of the way up and it kept beeping. I have tried the reset procedure which doesnt work, the tailgate unlocks but wont open however it will close when pressing the button. When closing it sounds like one or both of the motors are stuggling. A friend has plugged it in to VCDS? which gives the attached fault information. The date and time is exactly when the tailgate was forced open. I am assuming one of the struts needs replacing however i would rather not change both unless i have to as they arent cheap. Does anyone know which side is motor 1, or could this fault code indicate another problem? Thanks in advance
