Dear fellow Superb owners! I have been lurking for years on the forum, owned a 2016 mk3, and I would like to thank all for the posts and solutions which helped me a lot at fixing (AC flap motors, minor other stuff like nav update). I switched the ol'horse to a 2023 mk3 FL, 2.0 cr 150 PS DSG7. All was well, till this cold snap came, and now I am clueless about this strange behaviour of the HVAC system. I was driving for like 1.5 hrs in temps ranging from -8 to -5. Suddenly I felt a freaking humid air thru my nose and the windshield started to fog up quickly (air quality sensor kicked in). Sure, it was cold outside, is this really normal? I went to the dealership, where they checked this fogging, and of course it wasnt that bad after standing still for 5 mins till a technician came to check, interesting... so of course they said it is normal. (But I drove the 2016 one the same day, and I went on trying the inner air circ button for an hour, NOTHING, not even a slight patch of fog) One thing to note, the windscreen was replaced before selling the car to me, as it had a crack. Can this be a botched install, maybe? Of course, I have a video of it, how it looks, how fast it builds up, the outside temp was -8.5 at that time: I would greatly appreciate any feedback from you fellow owners, maybe you guys have an idea what or where to look for. Additionally, fogging started also, when the headlights were washed, only slightly though.
