Hi all Have just decided that I need a SD card to update sat-nav maps on Karoq although the satnav woks there is no SD card I learnt from this forum once down loaded onto SD card and transferred into satnav the SD card can be wiped clean I reckon that was what happed to my Karoq as there was no SD card when I bought the car the previous owner must of taken card out Question what size card will I need and how much does it cost ..... I've asked this question before how to update sat nav maps I've been told to remove SD card but for the life of me I cant find a SD card have three slots that read SD1 SD2 and sim the sat nav works ... So do i have to buy a sim and down load updates then put SD card into slot SD1 ..... Thank you Gary

Hi all I was wondering about my cam belt as my 2.0 diesel Karoq is 6 years old and has 46000 on clock I went on a Skoda web site and talked to a computerised person and gave them my vehicles details And asked them what the cost will be if Skoda done the job they asked where I would like the job to be done I said my local dealership ... Well I got a E-mail from my local dealer who said that the cambelt was good for 140000 miles I've got a mechanic looking into this .. I've kept the E-mail as proof as to what the dealership said in case my belts goes before hand ... Gary

Hi all Just updated my Tomtom sat nav ..Easy just plugged sat nav into computer pressed a key tomtom updated Then i started wondering how do i update the satnav in the Karoq ...Thank you Gary

Thank you yes it was just the mat that covers the space where the spare wheel should be Bought the space saver wheel with the polystyrene box .. As you have said used a pair of long nosed pliers Which fitted the three holes in the plugs. Once untightened unscrewed by hand. The polystyrene box uses the Studs to secure the box and stops it from moving so didn't want to damage the threads ......... Gary

Hi all just bought a space saver wheel for Karoq trying to get the boot mat out seems to be held in place by three plugs .. underneath the back seat Do you just prise these out with a screwdriver or do they unscrew ..I don't want to cause any damage to plugs or fixtures be grateful for any help ... Thank you Gary

Hi All Bought my first skoda last week a karoq 2.0 diesel tdi 4x4 being of the older generation I remember all the jokes about the company. What you call a Skoda with twin exhausts .. A wheel barrow Why does a skoda have a heated rear window .. To keep your hands warm when pushing it Why did I buy it well i wanted a bit of comfort and luxury in my old age and so far it hasn't disappointed I have a few questions about the car and i hope there's enough knowledge on here to help me out Thank you Gary
