  20. Hi all and a Happy new year Coming home from Norfolk the seat belt light came on got a friend to plug in his computer came up back seat belt tensioner As car still had a years warranty phoned local group one Skoda dealership. They had car four days phoned me back and said Looks like a mouse has chewed the left hand and right hand wires as electrical wiring isn't covered by warranty it will be £480 to fix I phoned local mechanic and he said to dear he could do it cheaper .. Phoned group one and told them not to bother putting boot back As I will be collecting car and some one else will be doing job .. When I collected car they said I owe the £300 for doing what they had done I refused and got them down to £150 .. The local mechanic done the job soldered all new wires and all good £50 .. It did look like a mouse had chewed the wires Thinking of putting a battery operated rodent repellent which connects to car battery seen them on flea bay £25 .. Was wondering if anybody has had any thing similar happen to them and does the sonic repellent work ..... PS Cousin whom we were visiting has been in touch and a mouse has chewed seat belt and water hose ........ Thank you Gary
