Thanks, I will see if I can do that. I don't usually pull my cars apart, I leave it for people who know what they are doing. I was just worried I was being scammed and trying to justify if it is worth getting it repaired or getting a new car, as it would cost approximately half the resale value to get it fixed.

I have been getting this error recently on my Fabia v3 2017, and I have been told that the gear selector assembly has been superseded now so the switch can not just be replaced but the whole gear selector for £1,400 +VAT and labour. Does this ring true with anyone?

Thanks Fabia I had never noticed the fob flash even when it was working, it certainly doesn't now. The batteries I put in were fresh Duracell CR2035's, so maybe it is a key problem. I am taking it to a service center for them to run some diagnostics on the keys and system.

This has just happened to me today with both of my keys. I knew about how to manually unlock and start the car using the NFC in the key from a previous battery drain. I drove to the store and purchased two new batteries, I put them in and that didn't fix the problem. So I tried to resynchronize them, press a button and then manually unlock within a minute, that still didn't work. I am not sure where to go from here.

Yes, that is what I have, FAT32, in root one file and 38 folders. I am on the correct screen and chose the update button. Simple requirements, I am not sure why the media s not being recognised. Maybe I will try exFAT?

Can someone clarify the process? I have unzipped the contents of the provided file onto FAT32 formatted USB drive and an SDcard, neither of which are recognised by the head units system menu for upgrading.

Are there change logs or details of added features for each version of software?
