  1. @J.R. sorry I'm not following you here...what did you do to change it, rollback softwere or something else? Please advise me. Yeah, I'm aware of this now...I never owned a diesel engine with DPF before so this is new to me also I consulted with friends who have DPF and they don't have this type of behavior that regen starts immediately when saw the engine start so my other guess was battery charging and unfortunately, I was wrong since this shows me that my dpf regeneration is happening too often.
  2. Thanks I'll check this definitely!
  3. If this that @linni wrote is true there is no doubt that it is dpf regeneration. The only strange thing is that I couldn't read anywhere that the regeneration continues the next time the car is started when the engine is completely cold (regeneration turns on immediately when the car is turned on) and I don't know anyone who has had this happen. Also @linni can you recomend some cheap ODB dongle that is working with VAG DPF?
  4. Hello everyone, I have owned a Kodiaq 2.0 TDI 190hp since 6 months ago, the car has covered 60,000 miles. First of all, let me say that I am aware of how DPF regeneration works, but recently a strange thing has been happening to me, which seems to tell me to top up the battery rather than DPF regeneration, although it has the same symptoms. Since I travel short distances to work every day (1.5 miles one way) the active regeneration comes on relatively often (at about 80 miles) if I drive it exclusively around town. What has been confusing me lately is that the regeneration starts (the revolutions increase to 1000rpm and the fan continues to work when I stop the regeneration) when I arrive at work and the engine has not even reached 80c, which is a condition for the start of the regeneration, and the message engine must appear be running but what's even more strange to me is when I come back in the afternoon and go home (after 8 hours after turning off the car) it all resumes immediately when I start the car...I drive a little fast on the open highway for about 8 miles and it all goes off. Since everything points to DPF regeneration, I am concerned that it activates when the car is cold, so I suspect that maybe the car is trying to recharge the battery. Has anyone had a similar experience?
  5. Hi! @varooom can you please send me last update for my system? Also is this update covering all countries, my car is from Germany? Thanks
