Just got back our 2016 Octavia VRS.. However it’s locked, we have no keys and can’t get in. its 8 weeks for new keys and $600 Aussie $ plus programming… Passenger side window is open approx 3” (75mm). We can reach door lever but can’t open door as seems like battery is flat and can’t unlock. Should we put charger on starter motor and earth to try and charge up so we can open then pop button? Or will alarm drive us nuts if we do this? Have to replace guard, bumper and get passenger door repaired. then we hope no damage is done to rest of car. I imagine it will require power for local guy to program key to suit. Any thoughts on best way to proceed would be welcome. thanks
