I recently updated my navigation system maps and now have a very quiet voice asking me to do so with the SD card. I can't quite hear it, my wife finds it very annoying as she sits in the passenger seat. My hearing is not the best so it doesn't really bother me but it would be good to be able to turn it off. I have taken the SD card out and put it back in to no avail.

I recently mananzged to smash the glass on my nearside wing mirror, annoying but not disastrous. Then I contacted my Skoda dealer to discover that a replacement glass costs £364! I asked if they were charging for a replacement mirror assembly but was assured that was the price for the glass alone but there was no charge for installation as it was a five minute job. I ordered a replacement from a wing mirror supplier (£15)but was disappointed to find that it wasn't exactly the same. I've ended up buying a stick on glass for £7, fingers crossed it will pass MOT. Anybody had similar experience?

Can you tell me what the firmware update actually does and in your opinion is it worth doing? If you think it is then I would be grateful for the information to update my system.

Tried to update my satnav maps today via SD card, Kodiaq Oct 2018, after a little swirling system says no data available . Reread instructions and am puzzled by Skoda instructions, open downloaded folder and extract first file to SD card then remove card from computer and put in SD slot in car. Is this just poor translation or am I just a bit thick?
