  1. Lol, yes understanding until it stops working lol.🀣🀣🀣 no that's great thanks πŸ‘ πŸ‘ I'll download the V2 and merge it onto the nav card. Just didn't want seat to get picky about the workaround πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
  2. I did a boo boo, I think I downloaded the wrong modified tmc update. So is it the V2 for the non coding route? On my leon (and the arona for that matter) I did the original 1023 coding and works, but for the other halfs Arona which is under the service plan with seat I wanted to try and keep it as original as poss so they can't say I've been coding it.
  3. So is this a case of downloading the above file then just replacing the folder therefore not needing the 1023 coding?
  4. Even then, in my Leon I have the seat Connect tile, and the head unit which has wifi built in, both I used the obd11 to "switch on" but when you connect to the wifi hotspot from my phone, or house wifi you have to register within the seat app using your VIN number to add your car. Entering this number brings back this car is not compatible, so I guess it contacts the seat servers brings up my car with the original equipment which didn't have the wifi head unit. If anyone on here knows how that can be overcome so I can at least connect and find POI'S for example that would be great. Regards Robert
  5. Hi, in my obd11 it's under the 5f Multimedia then search fee based services tmc. I believe if not the same Vcds is similar if not the same
  6. Unfortunatly, as said further up the post you will need an obd11 or Vcds
  7. Just wanted to give MASSIVE THANKS To @bigade1 and @pcbbc for the result of this post. Am downloading it now, hopefully my leon and the otherhalfs Arona will finally get the traffic back πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Robert
  8. I know this may be an odd request, does anyone know of a safe place to downgrade there maps? To the 2020 ones? Yes I know I should have backed up a copy lol πŸ˜’
  9. Hi all, Apologies in advance work a long winded message. Now that I've read all 13 pages I feel a bit like I can set my own TMC company up lol. 🀣 Seriously though, even though we're Seat leon 2017 and arona 2018 owners (with the same problem) I thought I might add my 2p's worth. Now I like to get my maps updated for free to which I found out how to do via Google, because of rip off Britain not sure if you know but Seat charge you for each and every map update approx Β£200 per sd card.😳because map care isn't available in the UK. Now when I had been searching for a new map, I was on version 1910 and have been for probably about a year as no new maps have been on the seat uk website. Something I did think was strange was I could download the 2110 version from the seat.com website.... Made me think have they updated anything? I guess I shouldn't really say but if you know how I would update then the πŸ˜‰overall file would be the same but is there any differences between the new and old... They also if you use a vw program on the pc to download the maps it states that they have needed to change the name of said maps. I understand that my post is not going to help a great deal but if your into map data and file changes or if there is any person of managemental directorship that actually wants to help it may well hold the key as to how the VAG group will need to facilitate the roll out of an update. Regards Rob
