  1. I've got the switch in the centre position. Yes, I've got a starter button - I think that's the issue. Automatic activation is triggered when "The ignition key is removed (vehicle without starter button)" according to the manual. I've seen other posts in other car forums and it appears this is the norm now. VW and Volvo owners have reported that on newer model versions the interior light doesn't come on when the engine is switched off. Older model versions it did. It's not a big issue with me - I just got used to my last car, (a Fiesta), that had this feature as well as better ambient lighting.
  2. All the Fords I've driven do. On my previous Fiesta you had footwell light come on as well. It's not a big issue, just a little surprised that it appears a backward step
  3. I've noticed that on my Fabia Mk4 Colour edition the interior lights don't come on when you stop the engine. I thought that maybe you have to have the headlights/sidelights on, but when I tried this the interior lights still don't come on. On other makes of car I've owned, like Ford, this happens. They only come on when you open the doors or manually switch them on. Is this normal? Can't see anything in the car settings that relate to this.
  4. Is your Fabia Mk4 the Colour edition ?
  5. Is the Fabia Mk4 Colour Edition supposed to have a light in the glove box storage compartment on the passenger side ?? Mine appears not to have one - not sure if this is correct or it's missing.
  6. Steve, Yep, That's the one. It doesn't come with any foam kit to store the wheel - I've just placed it in the circular space below the boot floor after removing the polystyrene foam packaging that had the tyre "repair" kit in it. It fits in neatly and there is room for your car jack as well. Hope you enjoy your new car - I've had mine 3 days and am pleased with it. Setting up the "Virtual Cockpit" to the way you like it is a bit of a challenge! The handbook doesn't explain it at all. Best to Google "Fabia Virtual Cockpit" and check out some of the videos that have been made about it - some are better than others, John
  7. I've just taken delivery of Fabia Mk4 colour edition. They all come with a silly tyre "repair" kit which is about as much use as a chocolate teapot ! It only works with small to medium punctures and won't work if the puncture is near the edge of the tyre. And to make matters worse, you have to replace the sealant stuff every 3 to 4 years as it deteriorates. That'll cost you £50 plus at least. I purchased a space saver tyre compatible with my 16" wheels from The Wheel Shop. - the wheelshop.co.uk As well as the tyre you get a jack, wheel nut wrench, and toolkit bag. All excellent quality and nearly half the price quoted by my local Skoda dealer.
  8. I've just recently acquired a Fabia Mk4 Colour edition- latest 2023 version with the new rear light cluster design. I always like to have a spare set of brake/rear light bulbs. Can anyone tell me what type they are - ie 380 or 382 ?? Trying to find out on line using my reg number doesn't work for some reason.
