  1. Good morning (again), can anyone tell me what the correct procedure for removing the headlight in a 2014 Skoda Superb? Thanks
  2. Good morning, i have an issue with my interior lights not coming on when any of the doors open. I have traced the issue to the overhead light switch so I was wondering how I get access to the switch; will the whole overhead unit have to be removed or can I get access to just the switch? Thks
  3. Thanks for the info 👍 I have actually just recently downloaded this app on my phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ovz.carscanner but unsure if it will show the regen, are you able to recommend any DPF monitoring apps? Thks again
  4. The idle does not go back to normal when cold and also my air con does not work also during normal weather it does seem to do a regen quite regularly probably every couple of weeks with me driving a minimum of 60miles a day 5 times a week, if driving around town the higher idle is happening until I get on to the motorway. How often should a regen occur and how long does it normally last? Thanks
  5. I have a 2014 Skoda Superb (2.0 Diesel) and I am not sure if my car has an underlying issue when the weather goes cold. During the cold weather the tickover revs on the car go upto around 1000rpm and sometimes the radiator fan is running even though the engine temperature is not high. Does anyone know what could be causing this ? Thks
  6. Hi all, I have found my car is throwing up fault code B10A415 for a signal wire is open or short circuit, would this stop my air conditioning working as well? Thks
  7. around 130,000 miles Is it normal for the fan to come on during a regen even when the engine is cold?
  8. It is random, sometimes it could be weeks and sometimes it could be a couple of days with me doing 60miles a day (most of it motorway miles). The motorway journey is the only thing that will clear the problem as when city driving it just stays as a problem and the motorway drive will always sort it out
  9. no most of my runs are motorway runs of 30 miles each way (on a weekday), could it be that the DPF needs to be cleaned, would it be worth putting some DPF cleaner in the tank?
  10. Sorry yes, it is a diesel, not sure if it is doing regens. How would I know if it is doing regens and how often should it do it? The car runs fine all of the time and doesn't overheat or anything.
  11. Hi, I have a problem with my car where the revs are staying a little bit high but the fan runs even when the engine is cold. The only way of clearing this problem is by going onto the motorway to give it a run, this will clear the problem then it the problem might return a couple of days, a week or even a month later, it is never the same. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks
  12. Hi, my air quality sensor has a fault, so I have bought a replacement and wanted to double check where it was located, is it under the plastic cover between the wiper and windowscreen on the passenger side? Out of curiosity what does this sensor do? Thanks
  13. I managed to get hold of a handheld OBDII reader and found the problem under the Auto HVAC tab shown in the attached photo, does anyone know what that means? Thks
  14. I bought a superb a couple of months ago but unfortunately the air conditioning does not work, it lights up on the button but nothing happens. The gas has been refilled but was not needed anyway, also the fuse has been checked. What would be the next thing to check, could it be a relay if yes where is it located? Thks
