  1. Sorted with the supplier, in the post.
  2. Hi all, I've got a Pioneer and just checking if this is the thing I need before purchasing. In the pics I take it the fascia in the link will sit in *behind* the clip in part on the front (removed second pic), is that correct? And then it'll all fit in snuggly? Thanks https://incartec.co.uk/product/Volkswagen-Seat-Skoda-Double-DIN-radio-fascia-adapter-panel-MATT-BLACK-50-714
  3. That's already in the rear wiper, could piggyback there as well but not sure about overloading if that would happen? No idea on that sorta stuff
  4. Ok thank you chaps for all the help it's much appreciated I managed to get it working normally so I'll just live with manually turning the radio on/off. Next job is making it fit snugly and finding/making a bigger fascia, don't fancy buying one incase they're not big enough!
  5. Thanks, Registered 24th May 2013 so right in the middle 😄.
  6. Nah that didn't change anything, stereo still comes on straight away even without key in the barrel. I've looked on the page below but it doesn't match what I see (I have asked there as well with pictures). I have 5 wires into the black section on the car but the converter only has 3...feels like I'm missing something I need. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/196288-oem-wiring-loom-colours-pins-for-stereos/
  7. sorry yeah been a long day! I'll have another look tomorrow I may of missed a setting on the stereo or something
  8. ok now after fitting it works but doesn't turn off with ignition, I've already had to piggyback a fuse for the Dashcam, do I need to do the same with the stereo? any one got any idea which ISO port I need to use for that? or an alternative solution? thanks
  9. Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but hoping someone could help me, as per the first post the Black Connectors are not the same on my Fabia mk2 see pics below. I figured the fatter Red wire was the Power but the two up top? orange with green strip and orange with brown strip, any ideas? thanks
  10. bought online but no matter I popped to Halfords and they helped me with the adapter I needed.
  11. Hi all, I've just bought a Fabia mk2 (2013) and the first thing I did was to buy a new stereo (Pioneer FH-S820DAB). I took the factory one out but then noticed that the plugs would not fit (pioneer leads in in picture below), I thought this stuff would be a simple plug in and go affair but apparently not. The Skodas plug does not fit the stereo, the stereos plugs are a different shape 😐 Do I need a separate adapter or something? Thanks
