Storage Box under parcel shelf
Old thread I know and if you want one of these trays, I could only get one from the Czech Republic (and it was pricey) Anyway, I don't like being beaten and I figured out how to fit the spring clips supplied. To remove the side supports first off you have to remove the small panel directly above it, lift the boot seal and you will be able to lever it off with a screwdriver (other leverage tools are available 😀) it's only held on with a couple of clips and some locating tabs at the bottom. With the panel out of the way you should be able to see a Torx screw, remove that with a T20 torx bit. The rest of the panel is held on with a couple of spring clips, one at the end nearest the hatch and one inset at the furthest point inwards and it clips to the inside of the C pillar. You will need to gently pull away the top of the plastic panels next to the rear seat as the shelf support is tucked behind it, with this moved slightly out of the way the side support should now be free to wiggle/lever free however you will still have the release cable attach and the seat belt running through the panel. There's no need to try and remove either of these, just gain your self a bit of slack on the seat belt and you can tip the panel ove enough to insert the parts for the shelf. The little silver piece of metal just pushes straight into place but with the spring clip, pay attention to the picture in their diagram supplied, it needs to be the right way round. It will drop loosely in the space and you need to then apply upward pressure to push the flat plastic piece up and over the surface it was sitting on. I hope this makes sense if anybody is still looking to do it, I've added a few pictures which will hopefully give a bit more clarity.

Another Ali Express Rear Camera Questions
I need to go and measure it again, it's 110mm long but cannot remember the depth, I think it's likely it will be their one that measures 111mm 🤔

Sounds like they declared it as a gift on the customs form as you don't normally pay duty on items less than £135. I'm planning on buying a few things to be shipped over, I don't know how shipping works from their side but if they all end up boxed together then I will end up paying duty.

Another Ali Express Rear Camera Questions
Still new to Skodas, do I need to check the type of plug on the camera kit before ordering or can I get away with just measuring the rear boot handle for the correct replacement?

Superb Mk3 suspension upgrade no DCC
Hi. I have an Octavia 69 plate Sportline that I felt sat too high and seemed generally wobbly and poor ride over uneven surfaces. First all I tried to improve the ride by fitting a set of 30mm lowering springs which made the car sit nicely without looking too low and was nice round bends etc but still terrible over uneven surfaces. I bit the bullet and bought a set of Blistein B8 dampers which have the same gas pressure as the B6's but have a shorter telescopic damper for use with lowering springs, as I already have the lowering springs I technically now have the B12 kit fitted to the car. My top mounts were shot (after 35k 🙄) so these were replaced along with the front droplinks that looked like they were made of cheese! The difference is night and day! OK it's a firmer ride but it's not uncomfortable and the new suspension deals with the uneven road surfaces so much better, the car feel much more "sure-footed" at all speeds and as its only lowered 30mm I still have a decent amount if ground clearance and the front lower lip still clears kerb stones. Worth every penny in my opinion 😎

Towing Eye Mk3 Facelift
Hi, noob here with my first post. Back in April I bought a 69 SportLine dsg that came with hardly anything in the boot. I bought a full sized spare and a tool kit but it still didn't come with a towing eye, I tried ordering one off ebay but that was incorrect and the stealer wants too much money for a new one. Can anybody tell me the correct part number? I'm enjoying the car, not a fan of the soft suspension and I'm suffering strut top creak a misty shocks but that will be addressed shortly.
