  1. Hello, I’m planning to replace the OEM springs on my Octavia MK4 RS with H&R springs (I've DCC suspension). For anyone who has already done this swap, how much did the ride height actually lower? Was it as the manufacturer claims (-30mm), or did you notice a different amount? Thanks!
  2. It never happened again after upgrading from 4015 to 4019, so I think it solved the issue.
  3. Thanks, I already talked to a dealer and booked a slot for the Canton module update. Currently, I run on the 4015 version and 4019 is available (checked via OBD11).
  4. Hello, I'm struggling with a very strange issue in my Octavia. It's 2021 RS model, with Canton. Sometimes audio just stops playing and when I touch volume control (up/down) it starts playing again but the side speakers don't work anymore, just the front one. After MIB reboot everything goes back to normal. I had this issue on 18xx software and now it's still happening on 1941. Does anyone experience similar issues or know how to solve this?

  6. I guess it's a placebo. I don't think it overwrites gearbox soft in any way. My car is after stage 1 (ECU/TCU) and my settings haven't got overwritten for sure (for example custom shift points). I think those settings are stored in different controllers and the update itself touches only MIB. Ofc I may be wrong.
  7. Just a small update for those who struggling with manual update - I had this manual update problem too (ERR_1601_DM_IN error) but after a longer trip it got self-healed and updated :). No issues at all now, no reboots.
  8. Hi, On another forum there are some rumors that the package @varooom sent is for specific regions only and some additional coding is required. I didn't notice any issues with modules but maybe anyone knows something about that?
  9. Short instruction how to do the upgrade: 1. Extract archive directly to the USB stick (Meta/Data folders should be in root). 2. Insert USB stick into USB port 1 or 2 (I used USB-C adapter). 3. Turn on ignition. 4. Hold "MENU" for few seconds to enter service mode. 5. Select software update. 6. Select USB1 or 2 (it's highlighted if detected). 6. Follow the instructions. The first two steps (MCU/CPU upgrade) took me about 25 minutes, and two long reboots, the rest like 5 minutes without reboots. Don't interrupt if nothing happens even for a few minutes, it'll progress. Process looks almost the same like in this video:
  10. Very appreciated. I've just finished the upgrade process, let's see if the new version indeed brings the improvements :).
  11. @varooomany chances to get the firmware link via DM? Thanks.
