I've ordered an OBD11 VAG OBD2 diagnostic checker. I will see what that tells me and update you guys. What is scary is that mine is not an intermittent issue; it's permanently on. I've tried to reset the infotainment, but that hasn't worked. After I read the fault code, I may clear it and see how long it takes to reappear. I watched a video on YouTube of VWwizard or volkswizard repairing this issue in an Audi A4. He ended up fixing it by changing the antenna cable. I fear that may be my issue, or worse, a replacement control unit. The avenue of Software updates may be a solution I'm happy to explore. I'll share back what I find.

Yes agreed thanks it will be cleaner. I don't know why they added a flimsy spring latch to it.

Thanks @Danoid I'll be honest im considering to tidy up the trim piece with a dremel and leave it. Im quite worried that I might cause an issue to the back seat latch release on the same panel.

Thanks @Dave77 I did read this but this is not the same area in the car. This is looking at the rear centre console as opposed to the boot. I will take photos and add them to my post. If I figure out a solution Ill add it to my thread too, I cant be the only person with this issue.

Hi Guys, The cover on my boot 12v charger has snapped off and Im keen to replace it. The latch to drop the rear seats is located next to it so I want to remove the panel very carefully without breaking it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Davi

Hi Guys, I have an SOS warning light issue that has come up on my car. I've tried to reset the fault by switching the infotainment on and off. I called a specialist in London who wanted £180 to do a diagnostic scan and said the repair will likely cost £1.5k but there is no guarantee that it will not rematerialise again. Has anyone come across this issue? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Davi

Hi has anyone successfully changed the 12v CL socket in the boot of the Superb 3? Ive snapped my cover off and want to repair it. Im not sure how to take it off and dont want to break anything. I have a 2021 Superb hatch back.

Hi thanks for reaching out. Ive managed to purchase an L&K model. Thankfully this has the reverse cam already available. I will keep you in mind in case i need other retro fitting.

Hi Chris, thank you I really appreciate the message back. Ive noticed many people have mentioned TPS but they no longer deal with the public. Given my wife really wants this and it looks like it needs to be programmed, I may wait to find a car that has it. super challenging to find a retro fitter near London. Thanks again. Davi

Hi Guys, Im about to buy a superb sportline plus (2021 facelift model) and it doesnt have a rear view camera. The dealer mentioned that they could fit it for me but have now said they cannot. Does anybody know if it is possible? Im based in london if that helps. Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Davi
