  2. What home charger do you have?
  3. Maybe ensure that the car isn't plugged in waiting for a charge time as well. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere else. I was unplugged when I did mine, gave it a wee while after removing then refitting then scheduled a charge for half hour later.
  4. Hey, not sure what to suggest other than a trip to the dealership. I can't remember how long I removed mine for when I did it. Maybe give it another go for a longer period?
  5. Fuse three in the top picture, 2nd one in from the right hand side after the 64 5 - so yes, the 10 between the 7.5 and 30A fuses. How long did you leave it out for?
  6. Quite simple, bonnet up and open the fuse box on the right hand side. A quick check online will show the position of the fuse that you need to remove. It takes 5 mins to do tops.
  7. Good to know. I cancelled my slot at the dealer today as I was able to successfully charge from home over the weekend. Hopefully not prematurely. Removing and replacing the fuse seemingly working for me. The car was initially throttling the AC charge so I switched it off via the in car system and I have read that the error message is part of the 3.7 update, whereby the car complains it cannot charge as it's expecting an immediate charge (as if using DC fast charging) rather than waiting for the home charger to start at its desired off peak routine. Whilst I was cancelling my slot, the service dept did ask why, I told them about removing the fuse and the comment I received back was , 'yeah, that resets the charge module, maybe the AC reset was missed at the end of your 3.7 update'. Make of that what you will. Anyways, thanks for the update, will be nice to hear what happens once they've looked at it.
  8. Hi - just read through that thread and commented - sounds like its a very similar issue. Whilst pulling the fuse under bonnet did initially work, the fact that the car errored again this morning suggests it needs to be looked at by the dealer again.
  9. I'm also having a similar problem with my Enyaq. It was in Skoda Dundee recently getting a software update to 3.7 and a new charging flap mechanism fitted and since I've had it back I've been unable to charge from home either when setting the car to charge during off-peak hours. Car will happily charge from a fast charger (done this twice). I did initially think it was an issue with my Wallbox App but I can manually override the setting and the car will charge perfectly, however as soon as I plug-in in preparation for charging overnight it shows the following error: "Unable to fully charge vehicle - Consult vehicle manual" - however I'm not trying to fully charge it - its set to 80%. Rather frustrating as it was working perfectly prior to going into Skoda. Tried removing the fuse last night, that seemed to work and I got a small charge but the error above flashed up on the dash again. Booked into Skoda again for 30th Sept.
  10. So off the back of the software update and/or having to get a new charging flap fitted my car is now refusing to charge via AC at home. DC charging is working perfectly ( two fast charges since I got the car back from Skoda) however I don't want to be doing that on a regular basis. I was able to get the car to take a small charge from home last night, having read about pulling out fuse 3 under the bonnet for a reset. When I checked this morning the setting was on to reduce AC charging so it only charged at 1.9kw. Thinking that the fuse trick might have fixed it I was dismayed to see the same error I saw yesterday pop up on the dash again this morning - "Unable to fully charge - Consult the Manual". Wishing I had removed the charge cable prior to checking however I don't think that would have made any difference. Cant be pulling the fuse everytime I want to charge from home so my question is, I assume I will need to return back to the dealer to get this looked at?
  11. Unsure as how common it is but thankfully it was fixed quite quickly. I believe its information electronics unit rather than the screen, however my screen looked and felt new, like someone had just taken of the blue sticky protective film that you often see on the insides.
  12. My 60 went into the dealer due to a stuck solenoid on the charging flap last Wednesday. The wait time for this was nearly 30 days just trying to book it in myself, so I went through Skoda assist in order to get to speed things up. I was also told there was a recall on the car, which when I dropped it off I was told this was a software update. Solenoid is now fixed but they were unable to perform the update on Friday stating that they were going to have to raise a ticket with Skoda directly as it kept failing. Today, I've been told the car now requires a new central screen in order to get the update but the screen is currently on back order. I've no reason to doubt them and have taken what they said at face value. I will enquire again directly with them when I go to collect a courtesy car tomorrow however I wondered if anyone else has had this issue and if anyone has any any insider info on roughly how long a new central screen will take? Thanks

    All fixed, car went in one day and was ready the next day, so quick fix. Issue was actually caused by the module in the roof that controls the lights. It was replaced and had no problems since.

    Its been a few months since I last posted, so a quick update on my Enyaq. So far so good, loving it except for the range being somewhat limited in the cold weather. Hoping this will improve as we move back to warmer weather in a couple of months hopefully. Only issue has been an airbag error light that popped up a few weeks ago which I've only just got around to getting looked at. Car's currently in at my local dealer getting a new "LINDA" module, whatever that is ?? and also a software update. Hopefully get it back in a few days. Anyone else had airbag error issues, is it a common fault? Chris
  15. Yeah I spotted the locations when I signed up to the app. Always handy to know these options exist. In other news, home charger was fitted last week prior. Changed over my tariff to an EV with my supplier as well.
  16. Overall I'm happy with the trip, Mrs wanted me to be cautious over the range rather than push it and end up running low or worst case scenario running out of juice. We really don't go much further in one day than the trip we just did. It all feels very new to me and very much a learning experience.
  17. 159 miles since yesterday's charge. Heating was on and I sat on cruise at 70 there and back. I had from memory 56% battery left at IKEA and using ABRP I could have made it home with about 13% left but I wanted to ensure that I had enough charge left for pootling about next week so I charged at Straiton P&R upto 80% prior to leaving. ABRP quoted arrival back home with 36% however it was 41% with 85 miles remaining when I parked up. Getting the home charger will hopefully make a difference as I don't think I will be so paranoid about what remains knowing that I have access to charge rather than heading to the charger in the Ferry.
  18. I'm sure it would have but seeing as this is my first EV and I'm pretty much new to it all I wasn't sure. Having just returned home and done a few calculations it would have been fine, however I'm still waiting for the home charger to be installed so it would have meant another trip to the local charger. Gave it a quick top up before heading back and all was good.

  20. I noticed that Straiton P&R was just across the road and tbh I hadn't thought about the IKEA chargers. I've only got a CPS account (interesting website 😔) and have the RFID card and haven't registered with other suppliers, BP etc. Speaking of CPS, tonight the charger cut out mid charge and I had to restart it, however it only logged my 2nd session which was only a couple of quid. 😀 Maybe I should take this as unofficial thanks for finding and reporting a security flaw on their website. 😬
  21. Heading to IKEA in Edinburgh tomorrow so it's going to be my first long range trip, although in the grand scheme of things it isn't that far. Do you think I will manage the return trip from Broughty Ferry or will I need a quick top up whilst at Edinburgh? If so is it worth topping up at IKEA or someplace still in the area of Edinburgh before heading home? At present I'm trying to get it fully charged before setting off. Waiting for my home charger to be installed so I'm at a public fast charger. Have got various apps for locations on my phone and have invested in a OBD2 BLE adapter for use with EvNotify and ABRP. Not quite got it figured out yet though. I guess I'm slightly panicked about it as my wife and kids will be there and I'm not wanting us to be left stranded if I get it wrong.
  22. So fingers crossed, my Enyaq will be delivered to me tomorrow morning. I haven't arranged a charger to be installed at home yet, purely because I felt it was touch and go in regards to whether the deal with the dealership was going to go ahead due to the time delays with EST. So, I guess my next questions will be related to charger installation, whether to fund this myself or endure the EST delays again so I can take advantage of the grant schemes. Worth starting a new thread or can anyone offer some opinions/recommendations on what I should be looking at getting installed charger wise? Anyways, here's a wee pic, as if you've never seen an Enyaq before. Quite a good spec, with the exception of having no convenience pack, which I initially wanted however given the industry I work in I decided I didn't want keyless entry. I'm sure I will have a heap more questions once it arrives and I've had a play around with it.
  23. Fingers crossed I will have the funds next week having just received a call from EST to finalize the funding, good job as well as the dealer was on the phone sound chasing me today. Cross your fingers and toes for me please.😁
  24. That makes for painful reading. So I eventually spoke to someone today, presumably the call centre as they needed to call someone else to discuss before they could answer me further. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic and helpful however I felt like my concerns weren't really addressed. I did however find out that my application is on day 11 so was told that it would most likely be next week but then of course there is no guarantee of that plus the additional 3-5 working days for the funds to arrive. I suspect that the dealer will be fed up by that point and trying to renegotiate the deal.
  25. Still awaiting any sort of information back from EST. Unable to contact them via phone and actually speak to anyone who understands the process, keep ending up in a call centre. Reply via email is also non existent. Dealer is asking for payment and it's becoming a tad stressful.
