  1. Only happens mainly during winter months when colder temps prevail, sun on dash expands trim which in turn stops rattle. Cooler months small rubber wedge between A frame and dash stops the issue. Hopefully you’ll be rattle free, enjoy
  2. Coming up to owning my 2023 Fabia SE COMFORT DSG for two years. Love the motor, as stated the DSG is a dream to drive along with the adequate 110 engine, often get 56 mpg on a long run. Never had a problem with misting up as use the air con summer & winter. Having previously owned Octavia’s found the Fabia a perfect size for the two of us now the kids have flown. Get into car, switch off stop start, lane control (don’t like either) takes seconds. Only gripe rattle from the passenger A pillar, others have mentioned in other reviews, can be sorted with a little imagination.
  3. Exact same thing happened to me whilst reversing into my garage after 6 months of ownership Scared the daylights out of me, as not happened previously. After some research the auto brake whilst reversing can be turn off in info scene after going into car. The sensors still work as before without the auto braking. Hope this helps, no idea why it decided to activate after 6 months.
  4. Hi, my 5 week old SE Comfort DSG also developed a very similar rattle to you from the dash area front passenger side, did all the usual moving the glove compartment around to no avail. When my better half holds the dash it stops, on smooth roads (laughs out loud) no rattle. It is definitely temperature related as when sun gets on the dash it goes, as per the last week or so when it’s been hot. I’m assuming the materials in the dash expand slightly and it stops. Hoping in the winter the heating inside the car will do the same. Can live with it, absolutely love the motor and the DSG auto, my first having owned 5 previous manual Skodas.
  5. Hi all, new to this forum. Have treated myself to a new Fabia SE Comfort 1.0TSI 110PS DSG. 2023 Love the motor and driving with the DSG is a delight, however have owned several previous Skodas all manual so I’m getting used the the DSG way of driving. Only had the car for 2 weeks and have a couple of questions regarding the use of the DSG box as there appears to be be differing views on line. 1) when stationary at lights etc for a minute or two leave in D hold on the foot break - got that, but if there for a lengthy time put into N or P apply the handbrake ? 2) In slow moving traffic, hold ups, etc leave in D and creep forward using foot brake to control movement or select manual and shift gears yourself ? The dealer said leave it in D and let it do it’s thing, I should probably just use my instincts and enjoy the car, but thanks anyway, any useful tips from current DSG owners would be handy.
