Hi all I have a Skoda Octavia VRS - VIN: TMBKK7NE0E0079144 I’ve been reading a few threads & it seems I have a common problem, but I’m still not sure what to do exactly. My Columbus infotainment system has lost its sound, then all of a sudden it will come back on again until I turn the engine off, then it might come back on again or might not. I have tried all the resets suggested & again sometimes they might work but chances are it won’t. I don’t know wether to replace the whole system or replace the cd changer/sd card box or get an update installed to the system & hope that works. I have been to my local dealer but they weren’t very helpful, they can run some tests but not sure if will find problem & will cost me £200. Can someone help a very frustrated guy please? What happened to being able to simply swap a system out?
