Faulty OBD11 port
I have measured the voltage of all the 7 connected pins. They all have power to them (except the two grounds, of course). I have tried two different bluetooth OBD readers that both work in a different mk3 Octavia... I have checked the fuses. I have tried many many times, with different apps, different protocol settings etc.. I tried disconnecting+reconnecting the battery Nothing's worked so far. Does anyone have any advice? i have no more ideas other than go to a mechanic and see if they can read any error codes. Thanks

Faulty OBD11 port
It is a tight fit. But pushes in quite far and does draw power. May not connect all pins though, I'd like to pull out the socket to look closer. I don't know what readers have been used on it by various mechanics. I know it worked when I bought the car using a professional cabled reader, but that was like 4 years ago. Thanks so far, fellas

Faulty OBD11 port
Hello skoda experts. Sorry if this has been asked before. I have a mk3 Octavia and I am trying to read the error codes for a EPC error. My OBD port doesn't work. I know the (although cheap) reader is OK because it worked in another mk3 octavia. I know the phone is OK because it worked in another mk3 octavia with that same reader. I know the fuses are ok. I have tried many many times in different combinations and sequences. The reader gets power and connects with the phone but can't connect properly to the car. It reads a voltage of 12 if key is turned to power and about 14-15V if engine is running. I tried pushing the wires around a bit to see if it was a loose connection but it doesn't seem to help. Maybe I need to take out the socket to really investigate, how is that done? I have also read that I can try resetting it by taking the negative terminal off the battery for a few minutes, but will that have other consequences for the car? Thanks a lot for any advice you can provide!

Upgrading/swapping radio to support bluetooth?
I made a mistake: the bluetooth button is not greyed-out. But the error persist no matter what I do. I tried factory reset and holding both buttons for 10 seconds to reset. Thank you all

Upgrading/swapping radio to support bluetooth?
Hello Skoda owners and experts, I think this may have been asked elsewhere on here before, in that case please redirect me, as I can't quite find it. I have a 2014 Elegance 140 TSI. It has (allegedly) a Bolero radio. It has head number 5E0035812A. As far as I can tell it does not support bluetooth. No option is given and in the setup it just says "telephone not available" when I press the greyed-out bluetooth button. The seller told me it does not support bluetooth at all. I would like to have bluetooth, and a better solution than the annoying AUX plugin adapters. I want Bluetooth that works with the screen and the steering wheel buttons (back/forth). What is the easiest way to achieve this? Is it possible to simply switch the head unit in the glove box with one that has bluetooth? will that work? and its hard to find the device part numbers that do support bluetooth, do you guys know which ones has bluetooth in them? Does the screen have to be changed (screen seems to "support" bluetooth options, if they existed)? I read on some weird foreign forum (google translated) that unit 5E0035819A may have bluetooth. It's not easy to figure out, but I may not understand the system... Thanks a lot everyone and sorry if this has been posted before!
