  1. The ride has improved and there is about 20 to 25mm more ground clearance which is useful for some of the places I go, and park.
  2. The 205 70 15s fit very well, these are Cooper AT3s. The gearing is noticeably higher but not excessively so.
  3. Hadn’t realised that as an online look up had showed the 205 60 15 as standard. Thanks for the info! looks like the 205 70 15s will fit & 5~ish% gear up should be ok. I’ll be putting them on my standard 15” alloys, not sure of the offset, but am staying withe the same width as I have now (205), so should be fine.
  4. Hello all, It's time for a new set of tyres on my octavia 4x4, it's currently shod in a set of 205 60 15 road tyres but I would like to put some all terrain type tyres on it, I can't find anything like I'm looking for in 205 60 15 or 205 65 15, but have found them in 205 70 15, these for example: https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Cooper/Discoverer-AT3-Sport-2/205-70-R15-96T/R-420429 I've been through a tyre size calculator and the difference is approximately 40mm in diameter, 20mm radius and +6.5% in gearing. Having had a good look under the circle whilst at full lock etc it seems the 205 70 15s will fit without rubbing anywhere. Just wondering if anyone has done this and what the results were like - did they fit well and was the gearing all to **** (I'm aware the speedo will be off but can adjust for that). Thanks in advance!
