I have worked it out. The minimum charge setting must be below the current battery level for scheduled charging to work. I was set at 50% and battery was a 8%, car wanted to charge to 50% as quickly as possible stop, then scheduled charging would take over.

Anybody had any success with charge schedule? I am having the same problem. Departure time set for 05:00 Off peak tariff set 00:05 -04:55 Plug in charge cable, shows schedule light on Soon as I turn the plug on, car starts to charge. Using granny plug until proper EV charger installed.
