I just checked out ODBeleven and it looks to be a good sophisticated suite of features with a dongle to go on the ODB port and an app to make sense of the data. They have a summer sale currently and an Ultimate VAG pack which sounds like the thing to get. What do people here think of this? I'm wary of making changes myself but would really like to know what's going on with all these sensors and warnings.

Just got an email, "We need to inform you about the important decision, that from July 1, 2025, Škoda Connect LITE will be discontinued. After this date, the service will no longer be available at stores and the application will be turned off." I bought the bluetooth dongle and it's not clear to me whether it will have any use after this shutdown. I'm still fairly new to Skoda and and really hate this sort of planned obsolescence and obfuscation. My Karoq currently has a check engine light but doesn't tell me what the problem is. A recent inspection service by a dealer didn't tell me anything about it either. I have to use a third-party plug-in to read the OBD port and tell me that it's a P0441 purge warning. I had hoped that the Connect LIte feature would have this facility too but so far it has been useless. So, de-supporting a useless feature makes some sense but this doesn't encourage me to buy Skoda again.

Had a routine service to my Karoq recently and see a workshop remark in the Skoda service record: "carry out 57nl campaign". What does this code mean, please? I've looked online but not found it anywhere.

I recently bought a seconda hand MY2020 Skoda Karoq and then updated the SatNav data for its Columbus infotainment as this still looked to be the original I downloaded the 2024 files from the portal, unzipped them on to an SD card and then put this in the car for the update. This worked fairly well but the files are big and so the downloads and updates can take up to an hour. There was an error when updating the car but I tried again and it recovered from the same point which was reasonably robust. So, my experience is that this is quite doable.

I bought a 2020 Karoq last week and am here because the wing mirrors went weird after I left it standing for a few days. I tried adjusting them when the car was parked in the drive and they had a mind of their own. After I adjutsed one, the other then adjusted itself so I suspect the sync feature which I will look into. This sounds like "too clever by half" rather than "simply clever".
