You will drain battery if you leave any device plugged. It should be switched off once car is locked.

Did you find out what was the issue? Service told me that these sockets are always on which does not make sense and while checking with phone it seems that most of the time they do not provide charging. Looks like they are tied to infotainment and will charge once screen is brought up live. Who on earth would make USBC always live.
