Has anyone fitted a cupra intercooler to a Mk2 before? If yes then do you have any pictures and info on how much work it was to do. Thinking of putting one on and doing it myself.

The intake manifold was well clogged.

Hi all new to the forum.
This is my wifes Mk2 1.9tdi sport that I have been moding for her.
So far I have removed the Egr and cleaned out the intake side of the head. Sport panel filter and 2.5 inch turbo back stainless de cat exhaust. H&R coil over suspension with all bushings replaced with powerflex bushes. Pendelton remap. I have replaced the rear drum brakes with a Vrs rear beam and Vrs front callipers. I replaced the standard alloys with vw ones with 202x50x16 tyres, fill the arches better with no rubbing.

I had this problem and found that the wheel bearing had slipped out of the hub. Ended up replacing the hub and bearing.

It has had a few different looks.

Changed from disc and drums to Vrs brakes all round.

It is a push in fit. Also had problems. Mechanic at the garage pulled on the cables (wires) to get it out.

I have removed the Egr and added an oil catcher. The other mods are H&R coilovers, 2.5 inch exhaust and Pendilton remap.

The future plans are Pd130/50 injectors, Pd150 head bolts and remap. Not looking for silly figures just more to make the smile bigger. 😁
