After going through all the posts right back to 2008 and picking out bits of info from all of them l have now completed that part of the job thanks to all the people who have posted about this . Pig of a job 😁

Thanks for all your help.. looking closer it is only very small amount of corrosion lower down. The tops are fine.. And one side looks good for another good few years.Panic over cheers 🥂

I just found a picture showing two more fixings 5 /6 done by the corners of the vent but how do you get to them l can't even see them?

Hi l am removing the front grill of my Felicia l have taken out the indicators to take out the bolts at the ends and removed the 2 screws on the top.. But still solid.Are there more fixings.How do l get to them.

Thanks for your help l will just have to take it on the chin l have 12month before the next MOT but don't want to spend any money on other jobs till I know the cost of this . Just put alloys and 4 new tyres on just before the MOT . Novice.But the pickup is staying. ( It did pass the MOT )

Hi I'm a new member and I need help. I have had my Skoda pickup for about two years. I've done a few small jobs but I now need both front shock mounts repairing due to corrosion. I've read there are no repair panels could anyone tell me a ballpark cost for this job? I have a good local guy but he is like a plumber and sucks air through his teeth and shakes his head a lot every time he sees my little pickup. Just need to know what to expect. Cheers.
