When to replace battery?
My Kodiaq is just over 3 years old and would have expected the battery to last much longer that it did, and Excide... just replaced it with a Yusa for £105 including delivery but took some effort recoding it to the car, a friend had a device to do this which works on VWs etc, but the Yuasa make was not in the list so had to find the battery code before completing the amps & serial number. I will try it as given a good run and now away for 10 days, hope it starts when I return (stood for 2 days a couple of weeks ago and only just started with everything turned off).

When to replace battery?
Just found a Youtube video from Australia showing the port is under the dashboard on the drivers side near the door, hope this helps someone.

When to replace battery?
I just purchased a replacement from Tayna Batteries "YBX7096 Yuasa EFB Start Stop Car Battery 12V 75Ah" £97.72 + £6.99 postage. My only issue now is where to find the input port on my 21 reg Kodiaq SE L 200 4x4, a friend has a device to read and update the codes for the new battery. The Skoda website will not let me in!!

Software Updates
Sorry for not replying, but I do not receive message notifications from this site! Just for info I still receive update notifications on screen but ignore them now as they eventually go away, especially after my last service at Marshall dealer, they said that they did not do anything to the cars system.. but it does not show updates as often now! I just wish TomTom could provide their maps for Skoda system as I would pay for it being far better than the current dated system.

Software Updates
Hi All, I am new to this site but my Kodaiq keeps displaying a software update is required and although I keep selecting download, the message goes away, only to return the next time driving the car, how can I tell what the latest is on my car and what the latest update should be?

2010 Fabia 1.2 TSI Brake pedal sinking issue
Yes, the mechanic said the brake lines and system checked and fluid renewed with a pressure system, it passed the mot but if the pedal is depressed slowly it will travel to almost floor, but stops the car. I am just not happy to press twice when braking, one day it may fail..

2010 Fabia 1.2 TSI Brake pedal sinking issue
My wife's 2010 Fabia hatchback 1.2 TSI brake pedal sinks when braking but if you pump the pedal it remains firm, mechanic could not find any leaks and the fluid remains stable, I am thinking this is a master cylinder issue but these are very expensive to just replace and hope for the fix, has anyone here had this issue and found the cause etc? Also if requires a replacement master cylinder where is the best place to buy at a reasonable price ? (quoted around £300 from main dealers)
