  1. Thank you. That is kind of what they told me in the service a while ago, I asked is there an update, they said do you have problems with the device, I said no, they said - then don't worry about updates.
  2. Hello , I read this topic and still don't understand, I have the 1760 version and it works fine, do I need to update to 1800 , what will be different or better in new version and can this screw up my current version. I am new to this topic.
  3. What does coasting have to do with start/stop, those are two different things on a Scala.
  4. So in 19 Gateway/ long coding/ FPA Funktion Freilauf default on- set to not active, and there is another FPA Funktion freilauf - also set to not active. Problem solved.
  5. I have only one very valid argument, coasting turning on and off made very noticeable clicking noise , and now it doesn't, thank you obd11.
  6. I forgot so I will check what I changed and will let you know.
  7. Just turn off that coasting crap with OBD11 ,nobody needs that, I turned it off and I am really happy about that.
  8. Thanks, I have already read all that. I was hoping someone has compared both set ups and give us detailed differences , if there are any.
  9. Has anyone compared the rough road package +15 mm suspension with the standard set up? I have the higher suspension on my Scala but have not had the chance to compare, I wonder if the ride comfort is affected, and maybe even the road noise . I did a short test drive with the standard one long before mine arrived , and I think that was better. If anyone compared these two , I would appreciate some info, as there is no test on this +15 mm anywhere on the internet.
  10. One more thing I forgot to share, when driving over a sharp bump at slow speed I tried to pay close attention and noticed , the front wheels make a thump noise while the rears going over the bump make more of a boom noise, like from a subwoofer. Maybe start with the rear arches and under rear seats if you do soundproof and see if it helps. Just a suggestion.
  11. I am sure the Kamiq was a bit more pleasant to drive. My Scala has the rough road package +15mm, so maybe the extra plastic underneath or Scala's bigger cabin resonates more noise, I don't know.
  12. Ok, let us know how it goes. And about the tires, I test drove recently a Kamiq with the 18 inch wheels, it was quiter than my Scala with 16 inch, it seems the Kamiq is a better choice, I wish I knew that before I ordered.
  13. I know exactly what you mean, I was also thinking about soundproofing doors and wheel arches but I gave up on that , although I did soundproof the trunk floor, but no improvement. I guess you need to do a complete car soundproof to have results, and I will not do that on a car under warranty.
  14. Tires will not make a big difference, I have 195/60 R16 on my Scala, but road noise on rough roads is bad, the problem I guess is weak soundproof. Did you do something about this issue?
