I was looking at the site that tells you if your car is needed for a recall for a safety fault. ( www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall) for info on a different car. I put the reg in for my four month old Superb and it tells me that there is an outstanding recall. Surprising as it's a new car. Is there anyway I can look up what it is?

If you Google "dash cam keeps falling off" the first site gives some good advice.

Does it fall off when/after the heated window has been on? Every car I have had, the cam falls off when the weather is warm.

I have just fitted my next base dash cam. It has been in five or six cars. This was the easiest fit of them all. The wire went behind the trim at the top of the windscreen easily. Down the left hand side of the screen, fairly well Hidden. When I pulled off the oval shaped piece of trim at left of the dash, there was a bolt for the earth. (10 mm bolt) I used fuse number 47, which is the one for the rear wiper. The spare cable tucked away behind the oval cover. *When I started I took a photo of the fuse diagram with my phone, which made things easier.

After entering my vin number and downloading this to my tablet, I can view it fine. Whenever I return to it, it keeps asking for a user name and password. I can't find anywhere to enter this or get around it.

Picked the car up this morning. Had about a 100 mile return journey on some great quiet A roads, dual carriageways and the M4 The car was quiet, smooth and comfy. The only thing to do now is find out how to work the cruise control....

Not technically a owner yet as I am not picking up my car until next week. I have had literally dozens of cars but not a Skoda until now. I like to do my homework so just having a browse.
