Thanks for the replies. Sorry - still learning everything! Did not realise I could put on sidelights without DRL's. I have also installed a laser parking pointer a few years ago and will reposition it on the drivers side to line up withe the bonnet/wing gap if I canot get to see the mirror more easily. (ATM trying to rip old CD's into FLAC formatso I can play them fron USB Stick!) Peter H!

Hi I have recently bought a 22 plate SE (L) and had to cut a piece out of a partition to get it into my garage. As its still quite tight I put a mirror on the back wall so I can see the nearside space between the partition and door. Unfortunately as I enter the garage the running lights are so bright in the mirror I cannot see the space between door and partition, it not too bad during the day but at night its impossible to see! Phoned retailer who said I can switch them off and I said I had the light switch vertical and he said that was "Auto". in my car it is off as it will not turn further clockwise so not good advice I think!! It seems that if driving forwards or stoppped the running lights are always on, could someone confirm this and if they can be switched when driving into a garage explain how i can do it? Hi, After further reading of the manual I need to ask a couple of (simple) questions already! On the correct thread.

I bought a 21 UK plate Kamiq SE (L) 1.5 DSG about a week ago. transferring from a 17year old Peugeot 307 Sport (manual) is a bit of a steep learning curve! The infotainment system is taking some time to get sorted but I am getting there. I have a few questions but need to read through some threads to see if there is info already before I post. Peter H
